High Elf compromise

what colors? darker blue? got it, already. darker grey blue? got it, already. what about black? black hair? nope. come on, why do you need every possible elf option but allied races like velfs, nightborne and night elves have to be limited to things like one color pallete or mustard colored hair that is then called blonde. lol . looks like something out of a cartoon

My nightborne and LFD says hi.

If i want other skin tone for lfd, i would play a draenei.

If i want other skin tone for nightborne, i would play a night elf.

If you want other skin tone for void elf, play a blood elf.

Homogenising races is never a good thing.

Didn’t we learn of Alleria being a void elf before void elfs where a thing? So wouldn’t it have been safe to assume void elfs where going to be like her and not get bait and switched like the players did?

oh i know they arent giving us high elves but my gosh how many customization options we are blocked from because they didnt give us an unique silhouette, is ridiculous.

Got it you think people having more skin tones is a bad thing. So in your own words you are implying you don’t think every race should be getting the black skin tone nor the brown. Because that would be homogenizing them. You should stop, Skin tones do not homogenizing anything. IT add DIVERSITY to every race so not anyone playing one said race will auto look like others in the same race.

You could just ask for more color options. They don’t necessarily have to be identical to colors other races have. I personally feel Lightforged and Nightborne were woefully shortchanged and should get several more skin tones added. I would personally like more goldish or even a darker bronze option for my Lightforged priest. You and I are under no obligation to simply accept what we are given and remain silent about what we want.

I’m not sure what you’re saying with this.

But I do know very much so I am not trying to misrepresent you, or my initial reaction to you inquiring if I am able to “understand” would have been the same earlier because I don’t think insulting intelligence is called for when in disagreement, but I decided you weren’t adding to the tone of the thread in that regard, because I took the time to remember you normally post in good faith and without insult.

I’m mentioning it now because you seem to be under the impression I wish to misrepresent you, to burn you. And I’m telling you that is very much not the case or I would have assumed your comments on my understanding were much in tone with other comments from earlier in the thread.

Not when the additional skin tone allows said race to look like another race entirely.

I welcome more skin tones to diversify. Not homogenising.

Give void elf dark red skin tone instead of human skin and you won’t see me being against it.

I would love to see grey, black, transparent body parts, and glow.

hmm. dark red, arent belfs getting that ?

I agree with this.

This is blizzard’s game and we are paying to access it. It is one thing to give feedback, but another to spam. This is directed to both pro and anti high elf.

we have grey, its just tinted blue. transparent body parts? EGADS Lol How about body wrappings like ethereals get. anyway, i dont expect anything much anymore cause we’re already out voted by the large amount of people playing horde. this is why true democracies dont work as the majority will vote the minority out of everything.

Really? Im gonna rethink about maining this lfd then.

yeah i think they get the fel elf skin color.

No they wouldn’t look like them entirely have you seen void elf eyes? Have you seen what happens when that racial procs? They won’t look the exact same. You can give void elfs all the same hair that blood elf toons have but just make it slightly different with tenticals. You are legit just against skin tones. I mean really thats where this stands you don’t think brown black should be added because in your words as you described earlier. With Gnomes humans Worgens Kul’tirans all having human skin tones. you dislike it which is inherently wrong.

At no time did I attack your intelligence. And if you are saying you have a processing disorder, that does not make you unintelligent. I myself have a processing disorder and use assistive technology to write, something I’ve been attacked for over the forums by people arguing for Alliance high elves. At the point you summed my argument up with “But you only” I decided it was a clever ploy to be evasive. I take you at your word that assumption was faulty.

We’re not all the same people. Just as nobody holds you responsible for Joy, Callistus, or Cezol. Though breakdowns in communication can be frustrating for all parties.

I accept that is the result of a misinterpretation and you meant no ill’s by it.

they are so slow at adding customizations i imagine the pipeline is burdened down with alot of unnecessary red tape. like every person in the food chain has to be sent the changes and okay it at their level. and if they are on vacay, might take awhile. especially if they farm it out to some other country like once a year or something

That’s fine but to tell people they straight up don’t deserve to have human skin tones to add more Diversity to the race they play is rude. Even more so when the parent race has said skin tones.

I like orcs and i think green orcs are great. But if orcs can have other skin tones that is fine too. Since the new skin tones for orcs is showing the fel fading and going back to the original skin tones.

Take this for Example you don’t see people angry that orcs are slowly getting it.

I think they had to do a lot of work just to get it going. The code is old and has many layers. Even when they added gold eyes to Blood Elves they had to add new faces to go with them. It wasn’t a simple matter of just dropping eyes in the menu.
