High Elf compromise

Hey man, I quite like Void elves and I’m not necessarily a a hardcore high-elfer. However, I seriously see no issue with High Elves as a cosmetic option of Void Elves. Similar to how I would like Undead to get more variant models for different undead races. How I support Wildhammer Dwarfs, Sandfury Trolls, etc.

To me the game should have had these variants years ago as WoW has very poor customization options for characters.

Because they’re gaunt. If you want swole elves, go Alliance. Tall and lanky elves, go Horde.

No they aren’t.

But stay on topic.

Because all that does it put the complete blood elf model on the Alliance side.

Its not the same as wildhammer dwarf customization, because thats staying on its original side.

Wow not even close to the same thing you really are a fool. How are dwarves where you are already alliance and can be them compared to one side has only purple elfs the other side how purple fair skinned and black elfs the same. Are you really that blind to the issue?

So its only wrong to say “if you want to play as a blood elf go Horde”.

But if you say “if you want to play as an Alliance race, go Alliance”, thats not the same thing.

Interesting.

Funny thing is it is. People keep thinking the “high elf compromise” should mean “give me the high elf model and skin tone, no real compromise”.

You twist words. What I am saying is one faction had both purple and fair skinned elfs so that can tend to people more prone to go horde when they can only get purple elfs on alliance. Being a dwarf is alliance. Being an elf isnt. Also you should learn how every races class is identified as something else in games lore other then paladin for the alliance.

At that point their not void elfs. Its like dark iron dwarfs. Their an entirely different race of dwarfs, but dark skinned. Still dwarfs, but their major cosmetic differences makes them a different race.

No void or void taint, no void elf. My alliance main is a void elf. I dont see the need to remove her identity.

I think that Blizzard leaves their lore open to interpretation and lacks consistency because they want people to tell their own stories. I think that this is where that becomes a problem, and some people think they can make their own stories cannon if they convince other players. They want this human centric high elf story and Blood Elves are a high elf centric high elf story. Otherwise it can be understandable why people have such diverse visions of the game.

I would rather have a bunch of detailed and interesting factions in the world, rather than different shades of human potential.

Being a blood elf isn’t Alliance.

The compromise was you got purple elfs and alliance didnt get fair skinned elfs. You are beyond words with how foolish you sound. Void elfs are blood elfs soooooooo ya you wrong about that last comment.

The compromise is that the Alliance got the blood elf model with a twist to still make them different.

The Horde did not get an exact model from the Alliance.

I’m done replying to you for being a bigot and blind to the games lore and how it changes every patch. Tide saga are shamans of the sea trolls are shamans that use the help of loa.

That was uncalled for.

You are flipping out to strangers because they disagree with you over implementing video game content.

Not really he is one. He is against racial diversity for one faction but all for it for another.

Sure, but there are many people who have followed the High Elves for a long time. I truly believe it would do more to improve the game for those who want that option. Mechanically the would still shift into void form during combat, but outside of it the would have the high elf appearance.

It is similar to how I see no issue with the Undead getting Night Elf Dark Rangers as a cosmetic or even undead variations of Dwarves, Gnomes, etc. To me the value is in providing people with more customization options rather then being extremely strict.

If I had my way each race would have subrace options that people could select rather then separate allied races. IE: Leper Gnomes, Undead Gnomes, Highborne, Wildhammer Dwarves, etc.

Player power imo is the best thing that can be implemented into any game. As long as there is justifiable reason for it. IE: It is not unrealistic that the forsaken would raise models other then humans to fight for them.

A) check the definition

B) No I am not. I am against specific diversity that has the conclusion of putting a Horde playable race on the Alliance.
