High Elf compromise

She became a Void Elf in a different way.

the void elves are already your compromise, Blizzard created them out of thin air with no previous background or lore just to give your faction the belf model and you’re still not satisfied.

They never will be. They even ask for void elves to have Paladin as a class.

The sad part of this story is at some point some developer at some level probably thought they were doing a kindness and giving the alliance something they felt would fill that very pretty elf look with void elves.

So? It would be really easy to add in some crap about how Void Elves discovered a new spell or whatnot that allowed them to revert back to their original skin and hair color while still maintaining their void powers.

I won’t mind if it makes our skin slight less purple or blue, making a very pale pink skin. But in onverall, don’t make carbon copies of the helves because that would kill the void elves idendity. Void corruption must be a visible thing.

Our eyes gotta keep the same color or give us a new purple voidish tone, something like that. No pure blue like the helves.

More colors to our hair, but no blonde, please. We don’t want to be associated with our Beverly Hills cousins.

Also, tatoos. We need tatoos. With caotics pattern (like in our heritage armor set). Bonus if this tatoos have that cosmic shine.

So, then they’d be Blood Elves again. >.>

While still keeping their void powers. I edited my post. :grinning: You were too quick.

Not gonna happen. Makes them too close to blood elves.

we cant have more. they gave too many options to belfs who already had more options than we do, and we cant use any of them now because they belong to belfs. we can be blue purple or gray, the end. and they have absolutely no sympathy for our situation. they could care less as long as they get every skin and eyecolor and maybe even most of our hairstyles.

I used to think that was a possible idea.
But in the end it’s just a blood elf on the alliance.

They have to look unique

You keep saying “just a customization option” like that won’t still be a literal copy of Blood Elves and that it would be okay

You’re literally trying to steal a Horde race, even down to the color palette, despite already having the exact model given to you

No. It’s not going to happen.

If Void Elves came from High Elves, in a scenario akin to maybe, instead of Alleria rescuing her kin, maybe in her trial to become void connected her sister Vereesa rushes to stop her or help her, takes the Silver Cov, and they get transformed. This is just off the top of my head.

Or literally any scenario on VE’s coming from the HE population on Alliance, that never were Blood Elves, I think they’d be more accepted, and a compromise like this to give them more human skin tones would satisfy them even if still obviously void tainted in some ways.

The issue as to why people are unhappy beyond VEs and part of the reason for this OP still probably not satisfying large HE supporters, is they want the HE in lore that never faltered from the Alliance.

If belves can use void elves eye color in SL velves should have a belf skin color option.

Y’all want high elves? Give us night elves

NO! Enough elves already! Give us anything but more elves. Even gnomes are a better option.

Dear god no. Did you even SEE what they did to the last Gnomes they gave us?

To be fair, as the “paladin faction” Alliance should probably have an additional few choices for paladins to mirror the Horde’s number of shaman options as the “shaman faction”. Ya’ll have 9 choices for shaman races where the Alliance has 5 options for paladins, 4 of which share a model (dark iron/dwarf, lightforged/draenei).

Why can’t it be both?

I’m cool with a variety of options for that, such as giving Nightborne access to the NE model or giving Forsaken Night Elves to the Horde as an Allied Race.
