High Elf compromise

They won’t be satisfied until they get skinny blonde Tolkien elves. Which I hate to be the one to break it to you Alliance folks… it ain’t gonna happen.

The compromise was Void Elves. You got the Blood Elf model you wanted, but Blizzard is simply not going to copy over Blood Elves to the Alliance faction and that’s what you’re all clamoring for. The fact of it is, if you want to play a fair skinned elf…

The Horde is waiting for you. :smiling_imp:

That’s just crazy talk.

Pale blue/purple skin tone options, much like those found on night elves and draenei, would be better than nothing. Currently my biggest beef with void elves is they only have 1-2 skin tones that don’t clash horribly with most transmogs, and even those still clash pretty hard. Velf skin tones are just too vivid.

Nah, thanks though. Would probably unsub before maining horde.

Wow, your reaction is exactly the same as everyone who says the alliance shouldn’t have high elves because they look exactly like blood elves, void elves that look like blood elves, or anything in beteween. :open_mouth:

Sorry for being snappy by the way, just disregard it.

I mean, I can roll a void elf DK who has almost exactly the same grey skin as a blood elf DK, with white hair.

And then pretty much the only difference is the faction… And that the void elves have better hair.

No. Because void elves are meant to showcase corruption. They aren’t meant to be Alleria. Alleria is a snowflake and a progenitor character who follows different rules. The Alliance will live without high elves.

What is Alleria? She is a void elf, yet she is not blue.

A snowflake who follows different rules aesthetically than her followers, just like non-refrigerator Velen and full-time meta Illidank.

And Sylvanas is a Forsaken but she’s not a rotting human.

Signature characters don’t adhere to playable race restrictions.

Asking for a non-purple skin and hair color options is very different than asking for customization options for Orcs to look like humans.

This isn’t the first time OP has asked for a “compromise”

Just a track record of wanting a horde race on the Alliance.

I wouldn’t have a problem with Nightborne getting access to the normal NE model and skin tones. Things like the green hair colors, facial markings, and the Night Warrior eyes probably wouldn’t be included since they wouldn’t make much sense, but to make up for that Blizz could make versions of the Nightborne tattoos that fit the NE model.

Asking for a literal carbon copy of a Horde race is ridiculous enough that you might as well ask for Humans to look like Orcs.

You already got the model with better hairstyles even, but that’s just not good enough.

I don’t think we really need a compromise. Alliance high elf fans just need to stop denying reality and make peace that it’s not ever happening. :zipper_mouth_face:

It’s not the end of the world. And giving void elves high elf appearances goes against the idea of being void infused. It’s the whole axis of their story so some blue/purple has to be there.

That’s kind of creepy that you look up my post history. Who actually does that? But it’s true. I want this.

if we got MECHA GNOMES, ergo Gnomes but with gears on them, why can’t we get High Elves ergo Blood Elves with unique customization. Just make them extremely difficult to earn, like having to get every single Shadowlands faction to exalted and it won’t be a problem… a lot of whiners, but apart from that all good!

Alleria isn’t purple.

Maybe because I dunno, gnomes are still on the ALLIANCE?

You did get High Elves with unique customization. That’s literally what a Void Elf is.

And Velen isn’t a refrigerator, and Illidan is in meta full time. This isn’t a valid argument.
