But Alleria is not only the first Void elf, she was also transformed in a completely different way. Nowhere it says that two people transformed in different ways won’t like the same, but also, nowhere it says they will look the same.
They already can be, but i love the positivity. 
Exactly my point, so it’s possible to still be fair skinned!, nothing is set in stone.
tl;dr some people feel that adding customisation options ultimately derived from a core race from one faction to an AR of the other faction would be a negative development.
Technically lore wise. Gameplay wise, it would defeat the purpose of making them different in the first place.
It would be like adding blood elves to alliance but with extra steps.
I think it’s good, like how Mag’har have all the clans in one!, it adds more flavour, more choice to personalise your character.
