High Elf compromise

Having a new model would happen if they are made playable which would help with that carbon copy issue. Kultirans still have normal humans within their race, bit only the big bulky ones were made playable. There are ways it can be done.

the problem cure is they ARE THE SAME PEOPLE

anything the 4 alliance high elves could get so could blood elves(high elves)

what you want, the high elves, as the pro high elf community wants them, are a part of the horde as we speak. simply renamed BLOOD ELF. its already playable and waiting for you

Thatā€™s great, but it cannot be a blonde pale skinned copy of a blood elf.

Alleria ate a Naaru. Thatā€™s a bit different compared to what happened to the Void Elves.

They drew a line back 13 years ago and break it with current allied racesā€¦

So only counts for High Elves, but anything else is fair game? Hogwashā€¦

Iā€™d love to know where you guys are getting confirmation for any of this? Is it a crystal ball?

At any rate, it hurts no one for us to express what we would like to play.

Void elf aesthetics infringe on blood elf aesthetics. Void elf culture infringes on blood elf culture. The only difference is one is bluer. High elves on the other hand have a different outlook compared to blood. Blood elves are basically crappier versions of what could have been, and all because Blizz wanted them on Horde.

And to your second point: it was an Alliance-allied race long before it was Horde. It was essentially stolen from Alliance.

Blood Elves have a bland and barely thought out story? Dude, go watch some videos by nobble87.

Blood Elf lore is High Elf lore because thatā€™s what they are.

How about the mountain of evidence. Metzen says theyā€™re the games playable high elves, developers say the same more than once. Void elves are made specifically to not be copy of a playable horde race. Blood elves get blue eyes.

But yeah, sure, ally high elves make sense? Please. Donā€™t be so dense.

I donā€™t want a copy. I want them to have their own model. I want them to have a range of skin colors, not just pale. I want a variety of non glowing eye colors, and a range of hair colors.

I donā€™t want squid flavored blood elves, and I have my horde blood elves already.

Wowhead datamined new eye colors for Blood Elves, including several blue options.

Itā€™s not even confirmed by the devs that blood elves even ARE getting blue eyes, so? Also the only thing Iā€™ve seen the devs say is they thought void elves were new and cool. They never said they were meant as a compromise.

If you want to play a high elf, the horde is here for you.

These eye colors have not yet been confirmed at this time and it has been stated by the dataminers that some donā€™t even go with the rigging properly. And even if it does happen, it doesnā€™t stop the request from happening because it was never about the eye color.

void elves were differentiated from blood elves(high elves)

Care to elaborate?

Okay, and thatā€™s fine, IF thatā€™s all you were doing, but you arenā€™t (Well at least, most arenā€™t.) When Blood elves got blue eyes Helf supporters went out and essentially compared it to Blizzard stabbing them in the chest as if it were some cruel, unthinkable gesture despite Blizzard making it perfectly clear multiple times that it is not something they plan on doing anytime soon.

They act as if the request for Blue eyes, or other high elf theme from Blood elven history can only possibly be driven by the desire to upset, or antagonize players who want Alliance high elves.

Yeah so? The blue eyes donā€™t even have the same options as the green and gold. Thereā€™s no dev confirmation that anything that has been datamined is sure to be in the game on playable races.

Some eye colors for the other races also do not have the same options for other colors. This means absolutely nothing at all.

Thatā€™s really not the same thing. Itā€™s a disingenious argument made by Ion who doesnā€™t actually know anything about the lore to his own game. Alliance has had the Silver Covenant since Wrath and continues to have High elf NPCs in their ranks. If they didnā€™t want Alliance players not to want High elves theyā€™d stop including them in everything they do.
