No. But if it’s not a nuclear weapon it’s not a nuke.
That’s like…
Y’know.
Words.
Well, that’s definitely a legitimate argument.
So do nukes.

And if an ambushed hunter’s camp is a military target, a fortified port near to two capitals that was actually the base for an active invasion is gasp, a valid military target. Even if Baine can’t be written caring about anything other than the Alliance and so is willing to let his people get slaughtered and shrug. (can we have end of Mulgore questing Bain back please?)
Also, Hawthorne does make it clear it’s not a military base at all. If it was he wouldn’t call it a “soft target” and I mean, to a degree farms are a valid military target as well since they are used to support the armies (or raise your unit cap).
So wait, we’re supposed to be all waily waily waily about how half of Northwatch hold, an invasive base in traditionally horde land got attacked and lost for the Alliance? Especially when you consider that there’s no reason whatsoever for an Alliance player to go there. It’s purely a horde questing area.
I wouldn’t trust Baine to make good judgment calls given this expansion making me strongly hate him.
I just hope one day, Baine will show up, and then another Baine, and he’ll thank the first one and then tell the player that he’s been busy hunting Magatha or something ever since Cata and left his cousin who looks just like him in charge, and hopes he didn’t do anything stupid while he was gone.
Seriously, give me the Baine from the end of Mulgore back please.
I think you need to redo that scenario. He was there for vengeance. The silver Covenant aren’t so pure.
I hope some of the stuff that has been discussed will be added to the OP though.
Dont need to discuss it now though.
Definitely! I just meant that me making the thread won’t be much different. It’s a place to discuss what we want for our high elves!
Whoa, hold the bus.
Genocide is not a remotely proportional response here…and I suddenly find myself adding a flurry of likes to people on the other side of the fence.
Dude, seriously…you just
With the exception of not getting a little wave from someone in traffic, is it ever?
It wasn’t going to be genocide originally.
Given that she started the war to feed souls to Death, she may have burned it either way.
The Alliance was attacking Barrens because the Horde invaded the Ashenvale when Garrosh became Warchief, and now the Horde finished the job conquering everything all the way to Teldrassil and burning it down with its civilians inside it.
Doesn’t seem like Horde was losing, especially if we consider that Northwatch Hold is in a bad state and both Bael Modan and Theramore were destroyed. Actually, it feels the other way around, that Horde conquered everything there, both Barrens and Dustwallow Marsh.
What you do with your likes has no bearing on me whatsoever, so it’s pointless to bring this up.
Who knows. She may have just left it as is.
What it shows is that your contention was so ridiculous it has me supporting people I generally disagree with in this thread.
And this has no bearing whatsoever on me, so why bring it up? Are you telling me, you felt forced to only upvote one side but suddenly my opinion made you have to spam upvotes for ppl you disagree with just to spite me somehow? Cause that’s pretty ridiculous sounding.
nonono, don’t play this BS game here.
Bael Modan was an attack on the Tauren by the Dwarves in a horde leveling zone that got destroyed for being jerks to the locals. And again, as far as I can tell, no quests for the Alliance before Cata when it gets blown up in a quest. So not like it’s something the players ‘lost’
And again, Northwatch hold is an invasive fort that got what it was asking for. You don’t set up camp in enemy territory to harass shipping and pretend it’s a crime to fight back. And once again, nothing the Alliance player lost as it is solely there for Horde questing.
Should I start complaining about the loss of the Frostmane trolls at the hands of the Alliance?
Fyorsing’s been here through multiple megathreads…so ‘new’ doesn’t exactly fit here.
I’m opposed - and have been for a long time - to playable High Elves on the Alliance…but some of the drivel you’re dumping here just makes reasoned discussions difficult at best.
Reno and Fyor have both been here that’s enough of that.
nonono, don’t play this BS game here.
It’s a BS game showing the stuff that Alliance lost?
I’m not upset because of Northwatch and Bael Modan ALONE, dude. These places are just one small piece of the puzzle.
Should I start complaining about the loss of the Frostmane trolls at the hands of the Alliance?
You can complain about the cities that Horde lost to Alliance, but I think you don’t have many options since even Undercity was destroyed by the Horde.
but some of the drivel you’re dumping here just makes reasoned discussions difficult at best.
What side do you think I’m on?
