Also no glow for the mother or child. So the sunwell wasn’t giving their eyes a glow, or affecting the color previously.
Yeah, we all know that glowing eyes is just a game thing.
The high elves in game don’t have an eye glow either.

They have giant blue eyes that are all pupil. The whole blue/green eye thing is entirely a game mechanic.
Wowpedia says his were blue before he went to outland. I think the white is just from the model he had, it wasn’t from wow and was lower quality.

what they’re saying is a normal helf doesnt have eye glow. the eye glow must be something to do with what happened to belves in outlands

Yes, their pupils are large, but unlike the blood elves you can see the white of their eyes because there is no glow effect.

weird cause in warcraft 3, they were a very light grey.

The far more likely explanation is just that it’s just someone at Blizzard being inconsistent, or being slack and not going to the effort of adding the glow.
Except the devs stated if you want your blood elf to reflect he has been cleansed by the sunwell, you can use gold eyes regardless of class.
Or design choice for easier differentiation for players as aesthetics is important. mind you, there are blood elves with blue eyes,

you’re choosing to use game design as an argument for lore.
Eyes are connected to face models, which is why it is a pain to implement new features.
It has been stated they wish for more eye colors to be available to all races, so I am sure we will start seeing other eye colors soon.

yeah since it only applies to high elves on alliance, its not that important.
Good lord. Screenshots of no glow in game, three high elves depicted in art with no glow, and by the way in Sylv’s warbringers video her eyes glow just fine while she’s undead, as do the nelves, so it wasn’t just that they chose not to make glowing eyes for the video, they specifically gave high elves non glowing eyes for it.
But yeah, just in game reasons. 
If they’re so consistent and lore accurate why do they have pupil-less blue eyes?

What does that have to do with glowing? And there does appear to be one anyway, it’s just lighter than the blue of the iris.
The very first line about the Cosmology and creation even states that “Light and Shadow are the most fundamental forces in existence.” Fundamental means the primary rule, base, principle, and core. It is because of these two clashing throughout the Cosmos that all other elements came into existence. So the support is there, you just choose to ignore it.
