High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

the pale part irritated me. is he saying elves dont come in various human skin tones or is he just basing it off the fact veressa and the silver covenant are depicted in game as super fair skinned? why would people, who are outdoors all the time, be fair skinned? dalaran doesnt have a roof.

ye :peach: it makez me go: w0t?

even if they made playable alliance high elves with darker skin tones, blood elves would also have to get them because they the are exact same people and it would be super weird if all the exiled high elves were just the darker skin ones

basically you need to realise the world does not revolve around your own wants and when someone tries to find a middle ground to help you get something you might be interested in…
You shouldn’t scream “REEEEEEEEEEEEE!” at the top of your lungs and realise after a year of begging you’re not getting your ways but there might be some path to compromise

I don’t know of any canonical night elf+other offspring. I also think we tend more as a society to keep to ourselves compared to the High and Blood elves.

OMEGAKEK I don’t REEEEE unironically, that’s cringey. Yikers.

Also people want High elves not Half-Elves. Asking for Half-Elves is also asking to change the lore. People want High elves and the request is maintained for so long because it has lore backing it up.

People speak of lore, but neglect the fact that blizzard doesn’t care that much about it. They pulled Void Elves out of nowhere. Speaking of Lore, there is plenty to support High Elves becoming Allied Races, and enough common sense to differentiate them from Blood Elves. Yes, they are both Thalassian, but their ideals, living conditions, and so on is enough to show a difference between peoples.

The term Allied Races in itself suggests that it is a likely smaller group compared to the core Races. There are some exceptions, but not a lot. Only one I can currently think of is the Zandalari. Likely they have more trolls than the Darkspear.

well the dalaran sc, are the ones who split off from the sunreavers. they are former sunreavers. pretty much any race in game that actively goes to battle, should have at the very least, a suntan, and at most tough leathery skin from the wear and tear of wind, sun, sand, etc. wow elves dont live exclusively in the woods. they go to hostile environments

That isn’t a compromise that is theft!

High Elves with Half Elf customization options makes perfect sense tbh.

Half Elves don’t exist as their own groups or people but as part of already existing High Elf groups.

though i remember death coil used to be a warlock spell as well… eyes you up and down

How does it change lore to ask for high elves?
population is not an issue.
Who is to say high elves and night elves did not take human lovers in the past?
Clearly there are enough for elves to frown on them.

Hey…my eyes are up here.

would you like shorter elf ears? i know i would.

I wonder what people would think of a form of highborne on the Dragon isles?

with as vast as the High borne empire was, it isnt far fetched that the dragon isles had a major settlement of Highborne. These High borne could be an in-between stage of the High elves and night elves, taller and bulkier than a Blood elf but smaller than the night elf.

The culture they have formed is similar to both thalassian, and night elf, they have their own settlement, and culture, akin to the blackrook night elves. Maybe they have been charged with the defense and secrecy of the dragon isles by the dragon flight? They easily reconnect with the highborne relatives that are back within the night elf fold.

they have a wider range of skin tones, due to being an inbetween of the night elves and blood elves.

might have that “cool” Factor blizz seems to follow of late…

Kek now I get it, you have some reading comprehension problems.

Please, read again.

Elves with shorter ears are virgins

Elves with larger ears are Chads/Sindeys.

take a tour of boralus when the faction war is done, we can have few brewskies and boralus delicacies… that will fatten that orc up a touch. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

this is good then. :sunglasses:
