High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

Makes me think of the feature I’d like to see added into wow. Mixing races together. Another reason why I’m not all that fond of the half-elf option. Feels like it could take away from a possible fun feature in the future.

So its ok if Blizzard does retcons and addins and all sorts of effort for a ‘race’ you personally want to play but not so when its a race you have some grudge against so you go all out against it because you don’t want a race ingame that you would never play.

I wonder what people would think of a form of highborne on the Dragon isles?

with as vast as the High borne empire was, it isnt far fetched that the dragon isles had a major settlement of Highborne. These High borne could be an in-between stage of the High elves and night elves, taller and bulkier than a Blood elf but smaller than the night elf.

The culture they have formed is similar to both thalassian, and night elf, they have their own settlement, and culture, akin to the blackrook night elves. Maybe they have been charged with the defense and secrecy of the dragon isles by the dragon flight? They easily reconnect with the highborne relatives that are back within the night elf fold.

they have a wider range of skin tones, due to being an inbetween of the night elves and blood elves.

might have that “cool” Factor blizz seems to follow of late…

I like the idea of dragon high elves.

With due respect, I do not think that would be a good idea. Maybe if the idea of High Elves that lived in the Dragon Isles awhile developed some draconic features, then maybe it can be added into the option of appearances, with or without horns. Grouping up all the different Exiled Thalassian Elves and put them into one race, like the Mag’har. Then again, the dragon elves would likely be very different from the rest. They’d probably have different racial abilities, unless we do the same thing as the Zandalari and Mag’har, who can have varying racials. This would require a lot of thought.

Then again… with that in mind, maybe it’s an alright idea that can be made better.

I cannot agree with you there, because she saw what was occurring and how civilians were being caught up in it, and did nothing. This is something she acknowledged as well after the Baine scenario. She knows she has blood on her hands, because even if Vareesa was the frontline to conduct such a thing, she ordered it.
