there are some helfers that just want a peach blonde elf model on alliance. they are okay with half elves. the rest want the lore from the actual helves and want a modified belf instead.

Exactly, Iam more or less okay with half-elves, but the lore is more supportive of High elves at this point and time, and who knows what is up blizzard’s sleeve for the future fun to speculate, and see the possibilities. Right now the story isnt finished, its not set in stone, so many opportunities. Like your Orc Druid an orc can dream cant he?

i don’t have any issue with the idea of half elves. but the people who want helves for lore reasons will likely not be okay with them because they don’t fulfill the helf fantasy.

well if you live amongst people for 2000years, and some are even having children with them, does it make sense to say only the windrunners did so? the high elves of dalaran were quite cosmopolitan as they intermingled with other races alot more than the high elves of quel’thalas, who were insular and xenophobic

half elf children are only rare because they haven’t been added to the game. it could be that most sc today, are half elven. would require retcons and lore additions, as i said.

…as opposed to HIUGH ELVES (and their children okay, if you must) which require NO RETCON and no lore additions.
