High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

I am glad that you have acknowledged the futility of arguing for the Nightborne being in any fashion good.

So just saying "the hell with it, you all deal with the Legion - I don’t like how the democratic 4-2 vote of the Council to let them back in went
so I’m out of here. Good luck.“poof” wasn’t wrong?

I get that we all see these things through our own lenses
but that one sucks for me, and I was maining this guy at the time.

I think a fair definition of futility where your participation in this thread is concerned is expecting anything other than baitposting from you.

I cannot agree with you there, because she saw what was occurring and how civilians were being caught up in it, and did nothing. This is something she acknowledged as well after the Baine scenario. She knows she has blood on her hands, because even if Vareesa was the frontline to conduct such a thing, she ordered it.

jaina has been poorly written since she initially became a dreadlord imo.

Yeah it was pretty messed up. She was in a very bad state of mind. She even had to go soul searching to get a grasp on reality. Shes still super mad at the Horde but seems to be more focused and not wildly slaying.

Even at this late date, there are plenty of areas, on the Old World alone, for High Elves. They also need not be centralized; Like Taurens, some families could turn out Warriors, others could be more focused on Hunters or whatever.

When they get enough numbers trained up, back into the world they come!
Elves tend to be reclusive; who knows where they’ve been hiding and recovering?

Best example: Panderan. ONE lone wanderer, and his beer keg, in WC3. Who knew there was a whole continent of them? With a culture and history and all that?
Then MoP.

See, THAT is speculation; its legitimacy lies entirely within the framework of this world.
Bringing in a race that has a presence, even in small numbers that the trolls like to slaver over, is really not only legit to the game, ITS ALREADY HAPPENED!

Next one’s on me!

Both her and Vareesa went nuts after what occurred to Theramore.
I am surprised anyone listened to them and wasn’t like “WOah woah, you’re being kinda hateful.”

The multiple threads on this topic are the definition of futility. No matter how much the infinitesimally small helf community stomps its feet. They will never become a thing.

Varessa did lose her husband soooo yeah I dont blame her for going crazy. Jaina though doesnt have that crazy of an excuse.

This right here. The civilians getting caught up was the part i disagree with, but with her being in power she did give them an ultimatum to leave, and they resisted. Can you blame her after losing her New city with all the people she worked tirelessly to protect and never engaged the horde from theramore directly?

i don’t want to help her or baine so i have to a. not get kt, and b. not get tauren heritage armor. :frowning:

as horde we kill dwarves and all the other races all the time including ironforge dwarves in 7th legion uniforms. you know what we dont kill tho? like ever? alliance high elves. this core and major part of the alliance identity

uh theramore had how many from the alliance military in it that were just chillin? it’s supposed to be neutral but it wasn’t. it was a valid military target. even if i do think what happened was a bit much.

inb4 muh taurajo.

Thrall did dump her for a Maghar Orc and go away to live in connubial bliss.
sometimes that does it.

Yeah but TAURAJO was

looks at the rest of Drekkar’s post

Drat.

Thrall was out of her league. She should have given that idea up long ago. Thrall is the #1 hot stuff on Azeroth lol

i know some horde will see what i said and try to compare the two so i was getting my comment in before anyone else did. :stuck_out_tongue:
