High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

pssst. come here. need to tell ya something.

/leans in
/whispers

they dont care if humans are copy and pasted (nathanos… he’s a cutie too). not their problem. they dont care if humans are physically modified (kul’tiran). not their problem. all that matters, in the whole wide world of warcraft, is that we dont get what we want most. that is all it boils down to. and perhaps soon, it won’t matter and their power to control the situation will be lost. part of their fun is watching people ask for what they have and saying no, in every way conceivable.

Just here voicing my concern/opinion that the Alliance deserve better than another reskinned elf race.

Who knows if we are only getting one more AR, two more or none at all at this point.

After Void Elves, when’s the last time an Alliance race was an elf? Do you see any upcoming hints telling you Alliance are going to get another elf next?

These types of comments never make sense to me. After Void Elves, Alliance has had 3 more non-elf races, with it looking like 2 more non-elf races incoming as well.

I am curious why Kul Tirans can’t be Paladins but Dark Iron Dwarves can. That makes no sense to me.

Especially since if they had just done high elves in the first place instead of pulling void elves out of nowhere, no one would even be asking for more elves.

We’re just asking for the elves we’ve wanted all along.

I think the biggest hint is the possible conflict of the windrunner sisters. If they don’t have any High elf hints then, it probably won’t happen.

it’s called a buttpull. :stuck_out_tongue:

possible that they are treating pallies as if they are more special than say priests and mages, which are plentiful

did you happen to see the latest classic pvp match between an undead mage and human ret pally? i think it was a ret.

that pally was fantastic cause everybody knows frost mages are over the top in classic, and it was a frost mage dude from method on top of that.

That is because you’re alliance, if you’re playing Horde, you see them significantly more often often. Of course, they should have had more of a stay in the story. Better than the high elves though…which is none.

Because there are already two playable elves for both factions. We don’t need anymore .

Matter of opinion

Matter of opinion

How is opinion when the high elves have had no representation in BFA? That is just being stubborn.

Because they do have a story whether or not in BFA at the time is irrelevant. Your claim is there is none.

I really like the ideas of the racials

40% extra speed on roads is a bit OP, 15-20 percent may make a bit more sense, would really be nice for leveling especially at lower levels.

The auto regen of combat resources Resources is nice as well.

Maybe some agility or haste boost like NES

Maybe like the other races a few generic throw away racials. Related to professions? Idk

if it was just an opinion you would have provided an example instead of merely stating ‘matter of opinion’

alliance high elves have never had their own story or been given development

they dont have a seat at the table, and the majority dont even live in alliance territory

Because all you do is deny deny deny. It’s not worth the time… and we have already discussed some of the High elf stories in previous posts, post tbc…

And again you will deny deny deny.

Like we are not even discussing the same subject.

so far their only story has been to show the conflict between the high elf people. the divide of the high elves in dalaran, the sunreavers and the SC to be exact. thats it :woman_shrugging:

So, sideways to this topic - but related to it - anyone see what’s going on in the Caila’s Back and She’s Lightforged Undead™ threads where they’re starting to talk about Lightforged Undead as an AR?

Folks, I have to say that - my position on playable High Elves aside - that suggestion makes this one look positively brilliant.

Yes, matter of opinion. Like most comments on a forum. You’re not proving anything by pointing that out.
