TBC concept of blood elves ended with the expansion and the return of the sunwell
they are back to their traditional high elf ways. alliance high elves are a few individuals shoved into a couple apartments in dalaran. they have assimilated into human culture as well(thats a dev comment). to claim this is the true high elf story is a joke
