High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

dalaran/kirin tor are neutral and wont take part in the faction war so…no dalarans

I don’t know - if there are any Kirin Tor mages involved it would be them and whatever SC forces are deployed in Naz at the moment.

No I mean would they take over Crystalsong Dalaran, Deadwind Dalaran, Broken Isles Dalaran, or whatever the next Dalaran is going to be?

Your entire statement in itself is a false one given that there were trolls who became night elves and died as night elves and not trolls.

This is incredibly false scientifically, and false in terms of lore. You don’t need a new generation to classify them as a different species or sub-species if they are already so different as to warrant it.
By your logic, chickens weren’t chickens until they gave birth to chickens.

That’s proposing open war between a rebellious Silver Covenant and the ruling council of Dalaran plus the Kirin Tor and the end of Dalaran as a neutral hub. More to the point, I don’t think the SC have a remote chance of beating the Kirin Tor in a straight up fight.

There really is not much of a precedent for it.
You know I really wish my worgen could go Horde.

sigh

You could - if we’re considering the Silver Covenant High Elves to be Dalarans - write a story arc that has them leaving, or being exiled from, Dalaran for openly engaging the Horde in violation of that neutrality. It could even be a good story.

i hope they make playable saberon for the horde, from the worgen skeleton.

that would feel forced imo

if they were going to leave the kirin tor/dalarans they would have done so with jaian who was their only alliance friend

I want the next expansion to be heavily high elf themed! And maybe a new Silvermoon Exiles rep that we grind to exalted.

And then my new high elf marksmanship hunter will be ready for primetime!

It would have to be part of a story arc that ends with the reunification of the remaining High Elves under one banner. There’s an opening for that to happen revolving around the Windrunner sisters, but the story would need to be written well to not feel forced.

just got off the horn with my old pal Ion, folks. he said the elves are coming if everyone is mature about it

if such a thing were to happen, it’d be the most recent dalaran, which currently is legion dalaran. as far as i know, its still hovering over the broken isles

For Vareesa and the silver covenant to reunite the remaining high elves scattered in Azeroth and Outland.

For the a good show of faith commit their troops to the alliance to regain the trust they had lost in the past with the alliance.

For that to become the larger reason they are playable.

Paladin
Warrior
Rogue
Mage
Priest
Hunter

Different models are a bonus, but not necessary.

Sorry. Mechagnomes and Sethrak/Ankoan/Worgen AR will happen before they do.

Mechagnomes maybe. But I don’t see the ankoan or a worgen Ar happening due to blizz not seeming to put a whole lot of effort in new models. Ankoan would need a distinctive female and beside saberon there are no worgen based races we interact with.

Naturally. I’m interested in the funny gumdrop mechagnome hairstyle. my mom had an antique doll with that hair style…

Seems like a horde race tbh, we will see lol.

That would open up the worgen model/ skeleton on the horde.
