i defended her to the best of my capacity considering she is not quite right in the brain pan. err. if she has a brain. how do undead have brains? isnt that what they always want in zombie movies… brains…braaaaains, they say.
And, again, none of this directly invalidates the request for a completely separate grouping of High Elves (i.e. High Elves who aren’t Blood Elves, and who certainly aren’t Sunreavers).
The majority of the High Elves that refused the call to rally beneath the banner of Silvermoon were, as Playpen stated, either the descendants of Sunreavers or Sunreavers themselves.
I think I’ll just stay out of this particular line of conversation.
i think something happened when she jumped off of icecrown that hasn’t been explained yet. then something with heyla happened again in legion. i imagine we’re not seeing the full story with stuff as of right now.
i appreciated your posts though. hugs you
I agree. The fact that Jaina initially (until she didn’t and went nuts) recognizes the Sunreaver’s contributions and considers them valuable members of Dalaran society in no way impacts either side of the debate.
i wouldnt be against the request if there was an even 50/50 split of the population but that just isnt the case
This is completely (which is to say, 100%) irrelevant to whether or not they’re capable of being made playable.
why should a few individuals get to redefine what a high elf is? that right belongs to the blood elves
this request makes as much sense as the horde getting defias humans because they work against the SW humans
Since when Void Elves are 50% of the Thalassian population?
Well it seems they are not, yet they are playable.
Next.
Defias humans haven’t been working with the Horde for the entire games history, so no, nice try.
If you had humans actively helping the Horde throughout the entire games plot, I would 100% be for Humans for the Horde as an allied race.
The funny part is that you shoving the “high elf” title on the blood elves in any other form than to describe them biologically, invalidates their entire history as “blood elves” which they’re incredibly proud to be distinguished by, why aren’t you?
i keep thinking you’re shadows. >_>
very confusing half paying attention to a few different threads. lol
because high elf is the race. blood elf is a badge of honor the survivors of arthas wear to honor the fallen. why would you want to play a tiny faction of a race that abandoned their people and chose the easy path?
hey i’m a high elf. i’m told. i have a right to define what a high elf is. mwahaha. sorry, i could not resist. it was just too obvious
why do you play a belf?
Oh my, would you look at that, it’s little Fyrebusche! I was already suspecting by your lack of uppercase letters, headcannon and this same talk of High Elf identity belonging to Blood Elves. Just a quick check in your collection and my suspicions were correct.
That’s a relief, i was almost starting to waste my time with you.
We definitely don’t see High elves that way, and I frankly could care less about yours or the Hordes opinion on Alliance High elves in regards to what they had to do to survive after arthas destroyed Quel’Thalas.
We want the elves that stuck with their allies during the 2nd war instead of listening to their cowardly prince to return home and not help defend from the Horde, them became Fel tainted, mana addicts.
See, we can both play the tarnishing game.
Is it now? That explains a lot, thanks for saving me the trouble Mowachassa!
Been wondering where she’s been, threads like these are usually prime bait for her.
- I didn’t realize the Blood Elves were going to disappear, poof, right out of existence the moment playable High Elves hit the scene. TIL.
- You just shifted away from your first completely fruitless position and attached yourself to a second completely fruitless position, without addressing the critique of the first.
It’s a poor analogy, as we’ve already got Void Elves (who are, as Ion put it, “another flavor of High Elf”).
A more appropriate comparison to the request for playable High Elves (being a unique flavoring of Thalassian, similar to Void Elves), would be a request for Felborne (being a unique flavoring of Night Elf, similar to Nightborne).
i think velves look better than belves but i realize it’s not a looks thing that makes you guys want helves.
only a few individuals would remain actual alliance aligned elves
frostfenser seraphi is an example of an actual alliance high elf not the neutral innkeeper in dalaran that both factions can set a hearthstone too
Bunch of nonsense, like everything you say Fyrebusche, i’m not stupid or naive to believe this alt isn’t just you trolling again.
