That night elves at one point would have killed highborne but didn’t and are currently aligned with them? And high elves also are without the night elves murdering them either?
Idk what the issue is.

i like my nightborne so i won’t complain. 
Also they seem to be getting along with Void Elves who where once Horde Blood Elves, aka Highborne. Even Shandris fights alongside Umbric.
Pluss the High Elves are already in the Alliance so it’s not like they need to join.
A thinly veiled attempt to put High Elves on the Horde so they can have Blue Eye customization.

me too. 
What are you even saying? I do own up to the fact that I’m Horde, and many High elves are also completely neutral and have not sided with Alliance either. But to suggest that High Elves and Night Elves would have no problem reuniting is a pretty laughable claim to anyone with even an iota of lore knowledge about the relations between these two races and their societies.

Apparently you missed the post where my main theme was ‘trust is earned’.
And, in the matter of ‘iota of knowledge’, there is still far more to ‘suggest’ the return of High Elves to the Alliance as a viable group( ‘playable’ as far as we players are concerned) then there is for a bunch of off-color reskins appearing out of nowhere because reasons.
If blizzard is going to pull this kind of ‘allied race’ thing on us, then how about what the forums have been clamoring for?

shes right. the high elves, particularly the silver covenant are alliance soldiers.
Fortunately it does seem that not all Thalasssian Elves get gold eyes for simply being connected to the Sunwell. Lorthemar’s eyes remained green even after his model was updated, and the only Thalassian elves seen with gold eyes are those who commonly draw and wield it’s powers, aka the Blood knights, while others have their green eyes intact. (Farstriders added in Nazj) suggesting that the type of magic they wield plays a large role in whether or not it effects their eyes.
And since the Sunwell is both Arcane, and Holy, its perfectly reasonable that Elves that still prefer Arcane magic could have their blue eyes return in the same way. We’ve already seen Wretched Thalassian Elves have their blue eyes return simply because they consumed a lot of Arcane magic, and didn’t require any kind of cleansing to do so. There are also some NPC examples of Blood Elves with blue eyes here and there in-game.
