High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

As long as we don’t have Elf Shamans, we don’t have enough Elves.

Noooo… we need one race, I don’t care which, theirs gotta be one!

A Night Elf cries in a corner

As well as they should.

Now we’ve taken everything!”

There is that missing story with the Void Elves. There is obviously something that has not been fully told yet.

Aww, don’t make night elves cry!

Snickers works wonders with things like this.
:chocolate_bar: Try it next time.

If High Elves were made playable and had shaman/druid the world would implode. Especially if one of their forms was fox (just cause). So much awesome all in one would definitely cause the apocalypse, but I would be so happy.

World imploding is a risk I’m willing to take for such greatness in a race and class :joy::joy:

I mean, I would assume these elves would end on an alliance elven group, such as the Silver Covenant. That’s the only way I’d be okay with such a scenario, but if they literally made another faction of alliance BE’s it just would be so sad I’d laugh.

But yeah, if the faction barrier drops, and the alliance BE’s gather under the Silver covenant (and every BE gets blue eyes) like, I already play a SC High Elf with this Void Elf, so getting an actual continuation of the SC and alliance thalassian narrative would be a lot more than what we already have.

Considering they never gave the Void Broken playable models unlike the Ligthforged, nor there are specifics of High Elves being an AR as beyond Vereesa and Arator which are there because Alleria and Tassia is just a flavor NPC, I really don’t buy this. Honestly all this tells us is that they only made the Ligthforged as an AR, but didn’t come up with the other until the last minute; Patch 7.3 came with Void Elf weapon models, so we know that while that patch failed to set them up properly, by the time of release they had at least been decided as the other AR.

It really doesn’t prove the choices were others, it just proves that they really half butted the Alliance AR.

The moment they decided they wanted an AR out of them they had it easier making them all just Draenei, it was easier.

I do love the headcanon that not all Ligthforged Draenei were draenei; imagine that in order to be a truly united force Xe’ra decided to make a_ll her soldiers the same_, equal -save for Lothraxion becauise with him she’s making a point, and Turalyon because she needed him as an emissary in Azeroth- giving them all the same purpose and goal, but having to leave behind what they were in order to become something else.

Of course this was a choice, but like in any cult, a choice that was expected of you to make, and soon you’d regret not making it if you chose otherwise for a while at least.

Sorry, Avarie!

I would also like to point out that the Argussian Krokul had extremely negative opinions on Velen and literally had a shrine to Saurfang’s brother. Them joining up with the Draenei would have been so weird.

You are forgiven!

I mean yeah, but let’s not pretend that story would have gotten on the way of an AR if they wanted -like how Void Elves were just literally Horde Blood Elves before we met them?- But yes, if they had been intended to be an AR during the narrative, at any point, one would expect for them and Velen to rebuild their trust.

But for real, they could have literally made the recruitment quest about Velen asking for forgiveness and going on a quest with us and all that jazz for them to join us.

Still would have made more sense than Void Elves, and possibly even Nigthborne.

Idk. Maybe my Pretty Elf bias is showing, but I’m rather glad we got Void Elves over Broken.

I mean obviously, let’s be real elves are popular. But if we had had Broken and not even knowledge of VE’s, people wouldn’t be “where these guys came from” cause we would have literally just met them.
