Well, it’s your GIF now.
Take a shot every time someone uses post-fact justification
Like people arguing for Blood Elves on the Horde because some dwarfs were spying on them in the leveling zone as if Blizzard didn’t put those dwarfs in to justify it to begin with.
That’s what most people within the Community now in days calls the Light Evil.
I don’t think its not really that evil or twisted unlike other magics such as Death, Shadow, and Fel. But the Light does have its flaws through of have some of those who would abuse its power like the Scarlet Crusade or some of the Naaru like Xera for example.
If you want to make a point of that I’ll be glad to see the end of all the belly-aching about Nightborne going Horde.
What are you referring to?
Valajar are still around and kicking. Just the Ghost Night Elves that are wandering and left to rot.
The community is hilariously prone to hyperbole. The Light isn’t evil just because some use it for arguably evil purposes.
You stated it correctly. Light stands for order. Too much order can be a bad thing as it essentially removes free will. This is what we see happening with Xera (who wants to enforce her own order) and the Lightbound for similar reasons.
It’s the argument of faith vs zealotry. It’s a topic that’s debated a lot IRL.
Well X’era got Illidan wrong since He was ether too edgy or short term too free will to give into X’era or B He wasn’t much of a Chosen One of being the Child of Light.
Here I thought Alleria and Turalyon’s Son was the Chosen One. Oh wait He didn’t do much in the Story after Legion.
perhaps that story arc was somehow tied to the never materialized playable alliance high elves, who left hints everywhere that at one time, they were gonna be an alliance AR in legion, but were removed and replaced with blood elves tainted with void
The way they went about it, Illidan just refused the notion of destiny.
I wish they had been removed and replaced at the time. At least Void Elves would have gotten SOME context relevant to their recruitment other than Alleria’s non-Void Elf Voidiness.
Granted it was adorable seeing the Windrunner family reunited.
she wanted him to forgive himself and others, so he could heal, but he still needs his scars to keep him honed for war, presumably. only reason to cling to righteous fury
Would have been cool to see a High Elf Background Story than Blood Elf One. I mean what was the Point of Umbric anyways?
So they have a leader in place when Alleria inevitably goes full heel.
Yea a Leader with no Backstory than studying the Void that got kicked out of silvermoon and that was pretty much about it.
Again was He even around during the Kael’thas’s Outlands Forces, Scourge Invasion or the Troll Wars?
tbh I doubt they’re going to go much into his pre-void elf story because they very much seem to want void elves to be their own thing and not be a derivative of the blood elves.
It would be cool not only it could enrich the Void Elf story by showing their reasoning for joining the Alliance, but also serve as a catalyst for anti Horde Blood Elf stories.
At last give the Void Elves something interesting like for example: “Oh hey if Kael’thas is going to save his people with the Fel. Maybe I Umbric should find a another magic power in the World.” Some reasoning why they decided to do it or atleast give more reasons to the Join the Alliance.
Heck they don’t even have any kind of interesting Elven Buildings, nor their own culture. Plus the Heritage Armor makes little sense in terms of being ether a Blood Mage One, Spellbreaker, or Ranger? Which I highly doubt Blizzard was aiming for a Ranger Heritage Armor for Void Elves since the Void Elf Heritage Armor is a Half baked Spellbreaker Armor with Ethereal painted on it.
They’re a core Horde race, good luck getting anti-Horde blood elf storylines.
That was literally his whole thing.
Although unlike the blood elves and siphoning fel, the void elves did actually all siphon void.
Currently waiting for Blizzcon to announce High Elves, Wildhammer Dwarves and Sethrak
More so High Elves and Wildhammer Dwarves!
Their needs to be an Elf Race shaman! I’ll take any haha
