High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

Yes. Like how Liadrin and Aethas being on the ship mean nothing.

And he hasnt done anything. And with datamining, he is still showing nothing.

Because realistically, the Army of the Light needed an expansion onto itself. Its the definition of missed potential.

Because Blood Elves got something they were clamoring since TBC, and since they are the largest played race in the game…it makes sense.

Yes, they are destined for greatness.

They bring something special for Amazing things in the Future. Not Light vs Shadow Wise. Just a rare gift of talent they might do in the Future. Too bad Illidan isn’t a Druid through.

So when someone says it’s clearly cut content, you continue arguing that it’s not there.

Genius argumentation.

Where does it say its cut content?

Which Xe’ra thought it meant he could be the chosen one.

He thinks his fanfic theories are clearly cut content.

Well she was wrong about Illidan since he blow her up.

:sob: this is hopeless.

That’s the original point of contention. The basis of this entire discussion. The notion of cut content.

Why do you keep bringing anecdotal evidence from the game as a sign of the absolute, as if plans never change.

Prolly the best thing he did in Legion.

The only thing we know that was cut from Legion was Thal’Dranath.

Why are you using speculation as absolute truth?

Eh another theory is that this entire line was changed as a response to the negative attitudes towards Xera.

Frankly, Illidan’s plotline in Legion is so hilariously out of wack that I can believe it.

Too bad the Light is evil now. Here I thought the Naaru or the Light itself had its good moments for those who wield the Light for the Good.

But the Scarlet Crusade proved that wrong. Now look at Yrel and her Lightbound.

good and evil are subjective

But that’s not what I’m doing. I have never said that that this is absolute truth. I have only iterated that it is a very distinct possibility that makes a lot of sense within a certain context, one that can be easily seen if you employ some level of dot connecting.

This is the problem. You just read what you want.

As a Paladin I am ashamed by you calling the Light evil… :frowning:

I can appreciate Blizzard deconstructing the Light as being corrupting when overexposed though, which is what they hint at the Lightforged and Xera as having been.

We’re still better off under the Light as living beings in WoW, but the Shadow has its place… which is what they’ve been arguing for lately… which also kinda makes sense if you think about it. Every culture says Death is necessary.

Connect the dots to what? There is NOTHING that speculates any of that. Vereesa being on the ship along with Arator only serves for reuniting with Turalyon/Alleria.

Theres connecting the dots, and then theres Jesse Ventura’s Conspiracy Theories.

Just because you say it’s nothing, doesn’t mean that it’s nothing.

And that’s not all what I’ve said. Don’t be reductive.

Away with you.
