High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

You literally said you expected Blizzard to pick High Elves to represent the Lightforged faction instead of Lightforged Draenei. That means this is what you thought they should have done.

Listen, I’m all for a civil conversation, but you acting upset does nothing to help it whatsoever.

Because Blizzard wanted to make them.

clearly. the original argument is, alliance ARs are kind of subpar. this lead to the confession that he thought originally it was gonna be argussian broken and lightforged high elves, with draenei facilitating it with their ships. i dunno about that. i assumed it was originally gonna be argussian broken and lightforged draenei, and that they changed their minds and gave us void elves at the last minute, removing the broken from the Alliance AR options

Which made zero sense because Lightforged Draenei were more abundant than the random 6 High Elves instead of the massive LF Draenei army shown.

So why would they picked Lightforged High Elves over the more obvious pick in this scenario.

That makes no sense…the Draenei are the one who’ve been galaxy-trotting in a Naaru designed ship and Velen is obviously closer to them than any High Elf at this point…so who would we assume get first crack at being a Naaru powerup AR?

It is a different colour on Alliance actually.

meeeee. :sunglasses:

I expected you to get it too, luckily for me and this argument, Blizzard supports me.

Still no counterargument.

Again, if you want to continue pulling the thread of the starring group getting the allied race treatment, then you need to argue why Void Broken were not chosen in favor of Void Elves.

As long as you fail to argue that, you fail to argue why High Elves could not have been selected as the Lightforged race moving forward.

And as I’ve continually said, their very jarring and inexplicable absence from most of the events along with the Void Elves being a random creation out of nowhere, lends credence to the idea that Blizzard had and continues to have very little idea of how to develop those two factions… because they never planned them to be allied races to begin with until some late decision change.

And Blizzard doesn’t support you. Blizzard supports itself.

Also note: The Lightforged PC Is a Draenei that becomes Lightforged, not an actual Lightforged you fought with… so the argument of population is also irrelevant.

ANYONE can become lightforged.

huh you’re right. i think they stuffed velen in a closest somewhere, with a good book and some warm tea and honey, so he could repair.

oh i forgot. the broken are already draenei.

“Lalalala I can’t hear you” that’s you.

There is only one reason for this as evidenced by Blizzard’s actions. Because they wanted to.

They could have been if Blizzard wanted to, but they went with the more obvious choice. Seriously, you’d have to be in the Minority to think Blizzard wouldn’t pick LF Draenei over LF High Elves.

Blizzard has been supporting my argument against you, so yes they do support me.

Blizzard’s refusal to employ the Vindicaar continues to make me laugh.

I understand though. It’s yet another homeless Alliance race that probably needs that ship too survive or something.

Yet they deploy LF Draenei themed forces.

Bro you haven’t said one substantive thing yet… stop trying to overplay your hand. You lost.

Lost what? I have the facts on my side, all you have are baseless speculation.

Yeah… honestly it’s just depressing that the Broken are not an allied race with all their awesome history since the RTS… they would have been substantially different than Draenei while still using the same skeleton… just different face meshes and a different skeleton… like Nightborne basically.

Instead we get two recolors.

the broken krokuul are also draenei. so we did quests on argus for two factions of draenei. maybe thats why they changed it to void elves, since it’d be the same race, twice, if both were made alliance ARs in the same expac.

Yep that’s the prevailing theory. Changing one necessitates changing the other.

Prolly another reason for it.
