I interacted with more Lightforged Draenei than I did High Elves while on Argus.
Wow! 3 High Elves on a ship full of Lightforged Draenei! Clearly we need to pick Lightforged High Elves instead.

how did moira end up being in charge? i missed that part of the story.
Moira was pregnant with the heir to Dark Iron Dwarves and is also the daughter to the King of Ironforge.
wasnt the king of ironforge a bronzebeard? isnt moira a dark iron?
Moira is a bronzebeard…
Bro I can tell even you were convinced so just grasping at straws to be a contrarian is just boring at this point.
There were only like 10 Lightforged NPCs on that ship, and considering they were the “stars” as you claim, that’s hilariously low considering the High Elves had two vendors and four NPCs on that ship… just randomly… and only one zone involved the Draenei while the remaining two involved Alleria (a High Elf) only.
None of this matters. Your argument about them not picking Draenei over High Elves is objectively moot because the Void Elves were not the stars of the Argussian Reach experience and yet turned out to be the AR. Blizzard could have, using the same logic, just invented some plotline involving the High Elves joining Vereesa and Arator in being Lightforged or something.
That’s it… enough of your contrarian argumentation.
ah k. didnt know that
To be fair she mostly advocates for the Dark Iron as they’re the underdogs in that situation so it’s understandable to get confused. Her son is the heir to the Dark Iron, but the Bronzebeard clan can easily disavow him as leader of the Bronzebeards as he’s only half Bronzebeard…which is why she did sketchy things
10 is greater than 6. Also the Lightforged Draenei are the star race of the Army of Light… so canonically there are more than just those on the ship.
So even with your so called evidence, Blizz went with Lightforged Draenei which existed vs. Lightforged High Elves which did not.
Because Blizzard wanted to make Void Elves instead. What they didn’t want to do was make Lightforged High Elves.
Unlike you, I didn’t make any implications on what Blizzard WANTED to do. Just what they ended up NOT doing despite the context being all there… which was pretty obvious.
Your point on 10 vs 6 is not even worth arguing, especially when the High Elves are all named NPCs with historical context (except that one vendor) and the Lightforged are just random unknowns.
What you did was speculate, what I did was provide evidence based on what actually occurred.
… I provided all the circumstantial evidence I had to assemble a tight case. If you wanted me to provide direct quotes, I’ll argue that they haven’t argued for Void Elves either
And that statement is hilarious considering that’s all you do.
No, all you provided was flimsy speculation for what you think Blizz should have done vs. what they decided to do.
… You haven’t even provided one shred of a counterargument…
Ah damn… I’m falling for the brick wall again… with someone who sits in a forum thread arguing against pixels for months at a time…
What am I doing…
“I can’t refute his argument, he must be trolling.” Grow up.
okay, lets say you’re right about the draenei.
why then do the void elves have no presence, anywhere in legion.
every … i mean every AR except void elves, had a zone, long quest chains, tons of back story, lore, etc, but void elves… you wouldnt even know they existed if you hadn’t done the argussian reach rep grind because they are nowhere.
compare that to nightborne, highmountain, lightforged draenei = they had entire zones, focused on them. no void elves. they simply didnt exist. its weird.
You didn’t refute mine at all… You just said “Why would they pick Lightforged over High Elves”… How does that refute the circumstances behind what they didn’t pick?
So you just argued for what happened, as opposed to argue for what not happened… which is what I was arguing.
You’re not very good at this… which is why I should stop taking you seriously…
Because you’re arguing that they should have picked Lightforged High Elves over Lightforged Draenei, when the the LF Draenei made more sense and had more of a presence vs. a concept that didn’t even exist.
Because rather than go with the obvious High Elves Blizzard wanted to try something new and made something from nothing and tied it to a legion rep they thought was appropriate since Alleria dabbled in Void Magic and there were only 2 Argus reps and they already had a Draenei candidate picked out in LF.
thats the point – void elves didnt exist. anywhere. not on the ship. not on the broken isles. nowhere on azeroth. nowhere on argus. they just unlock while doing quests for an entirely different race.
… I never even used or implied what Blizzard should have done… unless you’re overgeneralizing the original argument of High Elves over Void Elves.
I simply provided multiple contextual arguments about why something was evidently supposed to happen but ended up didn’t, and you have yet to provide one counterargument.
But… I should be used to this… so I’ll just stop responding because it’s clear there’s no interest in discussion here… Just contrarian argumentations that are quite stale 24 months later.
