I’ve seen the servers be pretty royally screwed up but last night was something else

has there been any word from Blizz yet about all this?
They really need to come out and confirm as to what is happening. If they cancelled this event 2-3 days early because of people crying about it it’s a bad sign going forward.

Just stop. Blizzard hasn’t listened to the player base since 2008 and they certainly aren’t going to start now. It has nothing to do with people crying or whining or not liking it. Blizzard doesn’t care. The zombie phase was supposed to end today.
No it wasn’t? it was scheduled for a week ramping up. Go take a look at the WoWhead page or the original bluepost for yourself.
Originally it lasted 5 days. It wouldn’t be the first time Blizzard got something wrong. In any case, it wasn’t because some players cried about it. Blizzard couldn’t care less.

They ONLY ended it early on US servers because Blizzard saw that none of you liked the event and everyone was complaining about it nonstop. Still on going In Europe, and In Asia and Russia, and in Australia. All non US servers still have the event going.
You people had to complain about the event nonstop. Blizzard understands that US players cannot handle events like this so it ended early for US and US servers only.
I seriously have never come across a group of people who nonstop complain about every little thing nonstop 24/7. An event that you could easily avoid simply by flying, by getting cleansed, by doing open world quests where there were none of them, by doing a raid or a dungeon. But nope. They few had to ruin it for the many.

because it was stupid. Thats why it ended early. it has no place. For anyone that wanted to play a game like that they can find another game that is all about cute zombies attacking cute npcs. it was dumb, and it was boring and it had nothing to do with what wow is about.

no. we did that with rdf. they said it ruined the open world. so we are not allowed to play the parts of the game we like. a few people like open world so the rest of us have to spend our time there so it doesn’t feel ruined for them

It did end early. This was only phase one of the event. Phase 2 was elite Skelton warriors. and then that second phase would only last a couple weeks, then 3rd phase lasted all the way up until WoTLK launched.
But i really think all of you should unsub. if you cant even handle this little prepatch that was very minor then there is no way you will be able to handle questing in the fileds of icecrown. That is much, MUCH more difficult. And since it ended early here, now none of you get a feat of strength for doing it. Zero credit for it. No custom tabard for doing the event. No pet. Nothing.
The event ended early because you people wanted it too.

Questing in wrath is easy.
I cant say it enough. Almost 100% of the people who are speaking out against the event never did it themselves on their retail toons and don’t even play Classic.
And you are yet another one of those people. You dont even play Classic and you never did the event on your retail account so all you know about the event is what you have heard from other people.

So false. The entire expansion is about the undead. It is about Arthas wanting to take over the entire world and cover it all in darkess. The only reason why the Forsaken race exists are because of his actions, the only reason why so much of WoWs lore kept going was because of Sylvanass and how she kept attacking and how she destroyed the tree. This is huge and massive to the lore. This finishes directly off of Warcraft 3s story.
It leads into the lore of Uther and causes Death Knights to join the game and causes paladins to become stronger as a result. And the Argent Crusade is launched as well who team up mainly with the Alliance and the High Elves but also side with the Horde. I can go on. But this is huge to the lore. So dont say it isnt.
It is a shame that blizz can’t communicate. Not the first they do this kind of mess with event timelines, and no explanation is given.
