Does it group based on roles? Where do you tell it tank or healer?
If there’s nowhere to do that, this is basically a meeting stone from anywhere and is way less useful than having a list of groups, which would actually be useful…
Look at JuLiar, So angry, so angry. You dont what to group with people like her. She uses addons that clearly abuse the game, for what? Ease. This woman loves P2W games where all you have to do is click a button to win. These LFG addons? They are a slippery slope. You will be a number, not a person. Don’t let JuLiar lie to you. She will ruin your experience of the game. She just wants to take the least path of resistance. Look for groups the normal way, join a guild and make friends who know your name and not your number. Have a great MMOrpg Experience, not just an RPG experience.

Well I’ve been a strong advocate for #NoChanges but I have to ask, what does this change exactly?
It doesn’t teleport you, it doesn’t skip the attunement requirements, it doesn’t make the raid easier, it doesn’t change the loot to personal loot… this is nothing like LFR from retail, all it does is form the group for you.
So even a vanilla fanboy like myself doesn’t see the problem here, its just an addon that could of easily existed back then too just no one thought of it yet…

I don’t play modern WoW, so no, I don’t know much about modern macro functions, which Classic is based on, so I’m not going to debate that with you.
But they did explicitly say that they didn’t want anything that automates gameplay, even if it was there during vanilla (like Decursive), and I would argue that an addon that automates the process of finding a group and putting it together would fall into that category and should be broken/banned.

And this “P2W” fake news? WRONG! The LFG addons will save every WoW player, even the nasty ones, money and gold.
Gameplay automation involves character actions without your input, or single button decision maker add-ons. Chat, bag, bank, auction, etc sorting and reskinning are not part of that gameplay.

The numbers don’t always match, your /4 might be someone else’s /3. It depends on the order you join channels.

So then should they disable the innkeepers and meeting stones? Because those literally put you in a queue and form a group for you. This addon, isn’t the same thing, though.

Little Flying Faramere can’t even speak for himself. So sad. He has to rely on the streamers, the cause of our problems. The people with a boot on the real Classic player’s throat.

If Blizzard was specifically against just auto-invite, they could just disable auto-invite and it wouldn’t break the primary purpose or features of this addon.
Most people won’t even use auto-invite as they don’t with the retail pre-made group finder because they’re often looking for something more specific and do not want to auto-invite anyway.
Though again, auto-invite and accept was a common feature in vanilla addons, so the anti-vanilla spirit nonsense doesn’t apply even here.

I’ve said it all along, there is no stopping LFG once it is allowed a seat at the table. It must be purged!
