I’ve got no problems spamming trade / LFG / world chats for groups but it is nice to have a way to keep track of groups LFM and how many people are doing said instances. It was fine with me until they added (or showed?) auto-invite, I don’t want that to become a thing in classic please.
The creator tried to package it as “not a big deal” luckily these two amazing people proved him to be a liar.
Yea, well hopefully this addon gets disabled by Blizz before launch. It is against the spirit of Classic, where working to gain allies helps a player progress in the world.

Luckily the Classic devs proved him to be right. Nice try, Flying Faramere! Why dont you just wait for BC servers to play, since thats what youre used to?

My friends and I are downloading this addon specifically to find out who uses it in our guild and /gkick them, and to not invite anyone who uses this addon unless they’re a guild leader with the same reasoning.
This does not belong in classic, and if you genuinely use this, neither do you. We’ll do our part, and we’re confident that others will too. I’ve already been told other guilds are doing the same thing.
We will make this not work uninterrupted.

I don’t hate it … but I don’t want it in Classic myself.
I’m not going to argue with you about your own feelings because you think you can read between the lines of what the devs said like some soothsayer interpreting my palm.
That’s your problem.
If they allow it, it will be in.
If they dont allow it, they’ll break it.

No need to get snippy. Even if the addon is able to work in retail, it is called ClassicLFG, and clearly it was made for classic.
BC was 12 frikking years ago. That hardly qualifies as a “baby”.

I mean technically I was lvl 10 in classic. 
but I obviously consider myself a BC player. And, there is nothing wrong with that.
There were things in Vanilla they have stated they don’t want in Classic.
I don’t think they have been explicit with all available addons, although I think decursive was an example of something they wouldn’t allow in its og vanilla form.
Breaking whisper invite would piss off pretty much every raiding guild ever
Auto forms groups, displays talents and is global? That’s not vanilla, you fakers.
