Herald, Dawnlight nerfed

No it actually isn’t extremely weak.

Check the Logs for single target fights in normal and heroic raid. Ret is above Average in both, in heroic Ret is upper/top of mid pack.

I don’t want a nurf, Ret will be ok after this change.

He’s a doomer and gloomer.

thats the dumbest conspiracy ive ever heard

Damn. That was cold.

Funny, but cold.

Yet I still have mages and HDH and warrior doing more damage than me in m0 I am at 589 ilvl and if the tank pulls right and I a he my CD ready I can get up around 1.1 1.2m dps easily but those mages and HDH always seem to do just more damage

They were nerfed harder for Mage and Warrior.

Mage

  • Arcane
    • Sunfury: Meteorite damage reduced by 15%.
    • Sunfury: Burden of Power damage bonus for Arcane Blast reduced to 20% (was 30%).
    • Sunfury: Burden of Power damage bonus for Arcane Barrage reduced to 20% (was 30%).

Warrior

Fury
Bladestorm damage reduced by 10%.
Odyn’s Fury damage reduced by 15%.
Mountain Thane: Strength of the Mountain increases Bloodthirst and Rampage damage by 20% (was 15%).

I will bet you that Fury Warrior and Arcane Mages will be far ahead of rets after the nerf.

Statement not mutually exclusive with the fact that they got nerfed harder.

Beside it nerfs ret but it’s not a “Ret nerf” as much as it is a Herald Nerf so that Templar can be closer.

Everything else is untouched, most likely because they don’t know what to think of Ret yet for multiple reasons that were stated here and in other threads.

Will post Mythic + logs early in S1 and we will see…

Not how game development works.
More basic than that, not how business works.

Very narrow-minded to assume there’s such a level of fluidity between classes.

“Ohh too many people are buying my ovens so I’m gonna make them trash on purpose to increase the relative part of my toaster-oven sales.”

:dizzy_face::dizzy_face:

It’s not about seeing anything, Dawnlight nerfs are lesser than Mage and warrior nerfs.

That’s not an opinion, its mathematical.

Regardless of where they all end up afterwards the statement is true.

You got nothing to prove or disprove about this with logs, that’s irrelevant to the statement.

Are you afraid that logs will prove you wrong ?

As you are always quick on approving nerfs on ret palys

Are you dense? Or high?

Mage and Warriors nerf are a bigger impact on their DPS in terms of % than the Dawnlight nerf is for Ret.

Dawnlight nerf is about 2% nerf all around.

If it’s a 5-6-7% nerf for them, you can’t “prove” that 5%< 2% you Dingus.

It doesn’t matter who ends up with more damage afterward. That not the point of the statement.

It’s like you have no understanding of relativity.

Are you frustrated by the possible outcome of this ?

You seem to have a lot of time trying to prove any nerfs to ret paly are right.

Oh Geezus Krist!!

Right over his head.

I think the general point was, despite mage and warrior getting heavier nerfs. They’ll be stronger than ret in keys.

Which is a rather fine take to have, accurate even

Everyone got that.

He says “Bouhou Why ret nerf? Mage, warrior and DH do even more than me in M0”

To which I essentially responded that they are and they are getting nerfed harder than Ret for it too.

He’s whining about Ret nerf pointing at these other classes as if they were untouched when they are getting nerfed way harder.

they are getting nerfed harder that is very true. a fact even

but it doesnt change the fact that theyre still stronger than ret in keys due to the nature of how theyre designed. i think we’re just arguing sematics

That remains to be seen after tomorrow with data. Until then…
