Healer godmode is exhausting

definitely a fried take.

Im not being condescending.

But if you can’t be convinced then you can’t be convinced.

There are plenty of rets pushing 2k right now in twos.

I challenge you to contemplate this question: if you are playing ret perfectly, why are you at 1350 when other rets are pushing 2k? Why are 40% of rets in twos higher rated than you?

How is this not condescending?

Because im not talking down to you. That rating simply means something is wrong with the play. Your damage isnt there. The other dps playing with and against are the same. Beating them in damage doesn’t mean much because they dont have their damage right yet.

Same goes for the healers. Their hps isnt there. You can definitely do what you need to do to fix your damage and dps through all of their heals. They aren’t doing something right. (Especially if its a dragon or disc talk about op)

You never told me who your partner was?

I thought for sure healer survivability would be nerfed by now. It’s very oppressive against mediocre or poor dps players. It’s basically impossible for them to kill me without several of them, even like four or so of them if they’re extra bad.

But I think I’m okay with it. Healers need some pleasures in life. Slapping around poor dps players in open world and random BGs can be one of them.

Aww look at you thinking your special by insulting my rating, how pitiful.

You keep plugging away at that rating or yours thinking it gives your forum cred or something lol, you’re a real winner!

Any one who’s worse than me is trash and any one who’s better than me is a sweat who needs to get a life.

No. Team deathmatch is extremely antiquated. Nobody cares for it.

I feel extremely priviledged to be part of that elite 5% of the playerbase that doesn’t fotm reroll for rewards.

P.S. I don’t have any rewards or I’m wholly unaware of what rewards I do have, if any.

Yeah but, I don’t even wear it lol was only to meme.

I wear Hero (always).

No you’re simply incorrect. I’ve never seen a disc priest bursted down by one or even two dps spec unless they run out of mana after a lengthy and unfun match, and this is by design. Anything other than that means someone is lying. In this case, I can’t see your stats so I’m assuming you haven’t even played the current meta. Just yesterday on bg blitz I got into a fight at a node with just a disc priest with me against two dk’s being healed by a mw. Nobody died and the fight just kept going on and on. We were fine with this because we were making the rest of the map easier for our time but that node was locked down the entire map. We ended up winning the match, but that fight was a stalemate. I think its a massive miscalculation to say that 1600+ rated players including myself don’t know how to play our specs. At this point I’m going to assume you’re trolling unless you can prove your season rating because I’m not going to waste my time talking to someone who has no experience.

they need to let go of the past and stop trying to balance around arena. no one cares about that anymore.

Oh, so should warriors NOT have big arms then?! Idk aboht this, man, that’s a great take IMO…

Healers are already much harder to kill than dps, but healers also shouldn’t be immortal. This is from the perspective of someone who has played just about every class/role to a reasonably high level.

This weird, “enjoy your queue times” sense of self-aggrandizing entitlement is the pvp equivalent of the, “you pull it you tank it” heroic dungeon tank who ragequits if you pull more than 1 pack at a time.

Gonna be honest, I’m not sure healing is the issue. I feel fine throughput-wise on rshaman & rdruid or hpriest, and while I haven’t played hpal (which DOES seem the worst) I’ve been kept alive through an 8 minute dampener game by one.

I DO think mana is an issue, though. Not only to pres and disc have the nost damage/healing, they also never oom, whereas shaman/druid/paladin OOZE mana.

I don’t mind healers being able to keep their team alive, I don’t mind having to need to cast as a healer, I actually prefer when healers do damage, but there’s no reason that some healers should have to rely on mana as a resource while others do not.

Healers are designed to heal Raids and it should take 2-3 Dps to kill them. PvP needs to be designed around this Class fantasy and large scale battles.

I name changed to nazcawow

You can search that character. I dont know why it hasnt updated on the forums.

Literally his main character.

Ah not going to listen to a healer talking about arena right now. Must be nice that’s all I need to say. If I fired up my disc priest I could do just as well.
