Heads up! Something went wrong

I am having the exact same issues as the OP in the link below. I have tried every solution suggested in the thread and have not gotten anywhere. I tried Paypal and it didn’t work. I tried buying 60 days of game time from the bnet store with the balance that I have and that didn’t work either. Would really appreciate some help as I want to start playing again.

It’s possible that with multiple attempts, your financial institute may be blocking the purchase.

I don’t think you read the problem properly. I’m not even able to get to the point where I put in my card details so there wouldn’t even be any attempts.

Already put in a ticket.

Might want to give it a try using your browser’s incognito mode.

Already tried on Firefox, Chrome and Edge. I have tried every suggestion on every bnet forum and reddit post I could find.

The issue is that, without knowing what you’ve actually tried, it’s hard not to make any suggestions. Unfortunately, it’s not likely a GM will be able to do anything beyond making similar troubleshooting suggestions.

So, you’ve tried a different computer on a different network? A cellular device using the data and not the WiFi? An incognito mode on the Chrome browser or something similar on the other browsers?

Have you tried a different card? Is the card you’re registering located in the same general area that the account is located?

Have tried it on a laptop tethered to my phone. Have tried using my phone with data. Incognito on 3 browers. Can’t try another card because I can’t even get past the part where I have to select an address.

Question, you’re not using a prepaid credit card, are you? You’re trying to add a card that has been issued by your bank?

I am not. The card I am using was issued by the same bank as the previous card associated to my account.

Ok, just thought to ask.

It is tough to know what is really going on. Have you thought about maybe transfering funds to a Paypal account and just add a Paypal account to your account. Just a suggestion.

Also, one thing that I can think off that could be a problem is if you have moved country, and your using a card from a different country that your details are not updated too on your BNet account. I think that could be something, if you have moved countries and using a card registered to a different country that your got for your Battle.net account.


Also, have you cleared off any old billing methods tied to the account. Such as old card details, etc.

Tried Paypal, didn’t work. I’ve been living in the same country for the last few years. But again, I can’t even get to the point of registering a card because I get stopped when I get asked to select an address.

Was you account originally created in another country? If it was, izz may need to help you change the country code on the account.

It was but I have successfully changed my country and have been playing in this country without issue for the last 8 years.
