Let me just correct you here.
“Intended bugs” don’t exist. If it’s intentional it’s not a bug.
Also, the reference client is absolute. The way private servers work is not the way it’s supposed to work. So let’s just get that out of our heads.

Yeah. They need to be referencing those private servers. Because they definitely got it right.
It’s never enough for some people.
This list is pretty comprehensive, and shows they are listening and working hard to get stuff done. We still have about six weeks- let them get their work done and see where we’re at then. At least you know they’re on it.
What is the hunter discord?
A lot of those seem like bugs to me that they aren’t going to fix because it is too much work for them… For example, the tooltip not displaying correctly? Just because the reference client displays the same thing, they said they are fixing bugs, if that isn’t a bug, I don’t know what they declare to be a bug.
Epic quiver, Ancient Sinew Wrapped Lamina, hunter epic quiver… wow. zamimg .com/uploads/screenshots/normal/4603-ancient-sinew-wrapped-lamina.jpg
All quivers show on your back if you have a bow equipped and use the Z key to put the bow in your hand IF you did not have a two hand weapon equipped (I.e. only if you were dual wield).
Only worked with bows, not guns or crossbows.
I too am interested in this. Hunter discord ?
You are wrong. They literally used the reference client to confirm the values that people pulled from the patch notes. The reference client is what CONFIRMED that they had it implemented on the beta realms incorrectly.
What you all still don’t realize is the reference client is not 1:1 with the beta servers. It’s not surprising since so few gamers actually work in software… but a Reference client is called a Reference for a reason… If the beta client and the reference client were 1:1 there would literally be no reason for there to be a Reference client at all…
Once again, you all call the reference client into question, and get proven wrong AGAIN.
Reference Client: 12
Know it alls on Forums: 0
Keep swinging I guess…
It’s the first result when you google “Classic hunter discord” or some variation of it.
That happened too but was just a visual bug for the hunter alone.
I had hoped they were going to update the Character Panel to the new version… but nope the #nochanges crowd want to bust out calculators to figure out their spell crit chance…
I don’t want any visual changes (i.e. no new version) so I am in the #nochanges camp, however, displaying the wrong tooltip just because it is like that on the reference client? That is a bug that they are choosing to not fix.
So basically dont roll a Hunter until a month after release? Where the “we hope to have it fixed” should be fixed by that time no doubt?
Let’s hope DejaCharacterStats gets a classic version. So far no word on it yet.
Oh crap. I forgot hunter was even a class… My advice, play a real class. Don’t be dismissed as a…….hunter…
Too bad we wont know is any of it’s fixed till launch now.
you just never saw a real hunter i guess
To those saying the reference client is absolute, do you think there was a delay on pets following any command in vanilla? There wasn’t - it’s a bug introduced with the new client. It’s still a thing on live.
First, saying the reference client is absolute has nothing to do with the pet delay.
It is most certainly a bug and one they know of and are working on.
I don’t see how them having a “legitimate” source of truth changes that. No one has ever said that was on the reference client let alone working as normal.
And as far as your statement as to it being on live… I think you might need to check your internet connection. I did not experience any lag with my pets in BFA.
