I have 13 toons all 45-50 been running HH since it began! That is 132 runs for the mount and still no mount! WTH Blizzard?

It’s bad RNG-luck.
I got this on my 9th try. It’s supposed to be super rare especially because it’s so easy to get! You kill one person and it drops. It should be insanely rare or everyone would have it.
They show it as a 0.4% drop-rate.

It’s not just the rarity. It’s a rare drop, from a reward bag that only drops once per day, from an event that only happens for a few weeks every year.
Just because you ran it that many times (and to complete the full average drop rate you would have to run it 250 times anyways), doesn’t mean you are guaranteed to get it.
This is a rare drop.
The thing about droprates that you may see posted - they may be true if you average out thousands - or tens of thousands of attempts.
The dice have no memory. Every try is absolutely independent of any others, so what is actually doable by a human - really you should take a drop rate with a grain of salt.

Been running this event since 09. I still haven’t gotten it, and every time I used at least 10 toons. RNG is RNG.

Welcome to the world of random chance. It does suck, but that’s how probabilities work.
I got it in 2008 the day after I got Deathcharger’s Reins.
RNG is a fickle, fickle beast.
Your chance of not getting the mount in 132 tries (based on a 0.4% drop rate) is about 59%. Keep on pluggin’.

So basically what they are saying is unlucky ppl will never get it , watched my husband get it 2 times with the only 2 attempts he ever tried first year, and I have been doing it year after year and year 11 to 13 trys a day round that off to at least 1500 trys .

It has a 2% drop rate (based on what wowhead claims) no matter how many times you run it. As someone said “dice have no memories” I have been run the Horseman since they implemented the mount and I still don’t have it.
Do what I do, sacrifice some dice and hope for the best.

I did it for years, every day during the holiday, on 6 toons. I got my mage leveled enough to do it and got it on her first try. RNG is RNG

I hate to say it, but 132 tries for a holiday mount with a low drop rate is not a lot, unfortunately. I’ve been grinding for this mount and the FRICKIN’ Valentine one every year with varying degrees of dedication and my billionty alts with only minor success. I did get the Horseman mount on one of my two accounts a couple of years back, but RNG is a cruel mistress. The other account is still going, and neither have gotten the mount from the Love Is In The Air event, the one I really super want.

all old content should be attainable instead of being removed from the game. Otherwise remove this mount from the game like Blizzard does with everything else
Orlyia is not a developer. She does not make changes to the game. If you feel this needs to be changed, you need to post in Dungeons, Raids, and Scenarios. The Devs don’t take suggestions from the Customer Support forum and the SFAs here are not liaisons with them.

I’m a little lost as to what you are referring to. Old content is available to all. The Headless Horseman mount is available to all. Just like the Phoenix mount from The Eye, or Invincible from Icecrown Citadel.
Aside from this event only being around for a few weeks a year, what’s the difference between all these mounts?
