I think a lot of the people bringing up Pelagos being trans are doing so because given how little sense making Pelagos the arbiter makes in game they presume blizzard only did it to make the LGBTQ people like them more, i.e. the only reason Pelagos becomes the arbiter is because he is a trans character.

Right until you defended someone being homophobic and transphobic and put the blame on LGBTQ+ people saying “they are the reason Pelagos is being made up of nothing” thats what you just said verbatim in response to me pointing out someone was saying offensive things in the LGBTQ+ thread
IE: you just made it about what you’re claiming isn’t the reason for your dislike of this character

It is so footnote that everyone acknowledges that, there are multiple threads filled with people talking about that, and a legion of people defending it mindlessly, even if they don’t put effort on the character.

Except he was a thing before that tidbit of information came to light. And even after it did, it had no effect or bearing on his character.

I would like to note that this isn’t even traditional trans they are complaining about. At it’s most basic Pelagos is more an example of reincarnation than anything else. Everyone is turned into a blue smurf human upon being brought to the kyrian covenant and nobody complains about that, but as soon as someone is turned into a different gender the whole world goes mad.
