So, I wonder when the LW thread's going to die out. It's pretty clear that it's filled with people who do not understand how our class works.

I got a chuckle when Nathanos was listed as not using pets at all. It was his major thing he was known for originally :P.
To be fair, that was so long ago and his current design does seem to stray from his roots with the hounds. Just made me laugh was all.

Probably when Blizzard announces the new Ranger class in 2025.
Good news; Will be pet sitting for another client starting wednesday for a week.
Bad news; I finish my current pet sitting job monday. So I'll only have two nights to play before I'm gone for another week. Should be able to hit max level by then hopefully.

What LW thread? I just looked back six pages, and I didn't see any about LW.
Or am I blind and totally missed it?
Also, hi guys! So two weeks ago I started my class. Seven kids (grades 1 through 3)... it's been quite the hectic two weeks.
(Poor Lazy had to put up with quite the rant from me another day.)
But I still managed to play a little of BFA. Last Saturday morning, I sat down and leveled Watermist from 110 to 114 in about half a day, and then I spent all Sunday leveling her to 119. I was one-thirds through 119 when I had to call it a night; I finished leveling her to 120 after work on Monday.
So far, I'm loving the zones and the quests. I'm also pretty happy with MM -- no, it's not perfect, but it's so much more like the original MM that I fell in love than Legion MM was -- so I expect that I'll be playing BFA a fair bit more than I ever played Legion.
I just started leveling my Alliance hunter; she's now 112. I've heard a lot of praises for the Kul Tiras questing experience, so I'm eager to check it out too!

*quietly misses Legion MM as it was fun to him to have burst windows*

Hey, it's okay if you liked Legion MM. I just didn't. :)
(And I do feel bad for new Hunters who started playing in Legion... they never knew what old Hunter was like, so BFA must feel absolutely terrible to them, class-wise.)

Nazmir was that 'moment' for me. Have you got a high-level Horde alt? If so, I highly recommend leveling through all three zones, at the very least do the main storyline.
And thanks for the link! I'm checking it out now...
EDIT: Just read it through to the end. A bunch of odd arguments, and honestly? As the years go by, the more and more I wish that Lone Wolf had never been introduced to the game. It's brought us nothing but grief and frustration with the Hunter class, specifically MM. (Dunno whether any of you recall, but I was one of the "super-angry" MM Hunters who cried out against forced LW in Legion Alpha.)
Heya gang. I'm looking forward to finishing the questing when I can. Monday I'll finish Zandalar, then move to Nazmir.
I've done some BGs while leveling up. Honestly, I really like that they seperated the forty man BGs. I love that they added an extra 100 reinforcements in AV. It lasts longer now, and that makes both the mines more important as well as the turn ins.
@Water, I told you already I didn't mind your rant at all lol. And yeah, that thread was kind of odd. Didn't feel like posting any more than I did, didn't want to step on too many toes so to speak.

Once I get my Hunter geared enough.08/25/2018 08:41 PMPosted by WatermistNazmir was that 'moment' for me. Have you got a high-level Horde alt? If so, I highly recommend leveling through all three zones, at the very least do the main storyline.

Now I'm off to relax and take a break from the computer.
So, I picked up a gun was 15 ilvls more then the Spear I've been using. I guess I'm BM for a while.
From my limited experience with the expansion so far, at least it feels better than it did in Legion.08/27/2018 05:07 AMPosted by WhimSo, I picked up a gun was 15 ilvls more then the Spear I've been using. I guess I'm BM for a while.
So over on the Overwatch forums, posters have taken to calling the Mercy posters cultists due to their continued passion and discussion for wanting Mercy returned before her rework.
Kind of reminds me the discussions that go on here in regards to survival and makes me thankful I have yet to see anyone call each other cultist over their opinions on the spec lol.
Edit: Missing words and bad spelling. I need coffee.

Was frost, with 310 and 325 onehanders, got a 330 two handed and went unholy. Once I start running mythics for gear, I get to live 330 and then 340 and 345 onehanders drop, so I will be returning to frost for dps purposes for the foreseeable future.
Iām not certain if the weapon ilv drops determining which spec you play was better or worse in legion. (Primarily because DH only had one spec)
It does, but I prefer SV in terms of fun.08/27/2018 05:53 AMPosted by LazyguideFrom my limited experience with the expansion so far, at least it feels better than it did in Legion.08/27/2018 05:07 AMPosted by WhimSo, I picked up a gun was 15 ilvls more then the Spear I've been using. I imagine for DK's the issue is more prominent. Hunters BM and MM are going to share weapon types, and SV forces the choice between ranged and melee which I'm imagining would be a tough sell for the raid groups that are going to be forming soon.08/27/2018 06:14 AMPosted by Sindegrosa08/27/2018 05:53 AMPosted by Lazyguide...From my limited experience with the expansion so far, at least it feels better than it did in Legion.

I finally broke down and tamed Fenryr.
I'm confused, did you not like him or were against taming Fenryr before?08/27/2018 04:55 PMPosted by WhimI finally broke down and tamed Fenryr.
I never had time for mythic runs, and when I could solo it in Legion I just wasn't interested. If I hated him, I wouldn't tame him now. I spent most of Legion with a schedule that would not allow me to raid.08/27/2018 05:15 PMPosted by LazyguideI'm confused, did you not like him or were against taming Fenryr before?08/27/2018 04:55 PMPosted by WhimI finally broke down and tamed Fenryr.

I just dinged, 120 now :D!
