The point was that your claim that it would be “OP without adjustments” isn’t correct, and the opposite would be the actual result. Not to mention Killing Machine and Razorice netting a loss for two-handed as well without adjustments.
I was talking about how the scenario was possible if all of DW’s buffs were carried over to 2h is the thing. But still, I think it might feel kinda clunky, OP or not, if we get 2h back. Yet I won’t complain at all since using a 2 hander and getting back that part of the class fantasy would make me feel good enough to not mind as much.
Yeah, they would have to change the skills to either hit only with the main-hand weapon again (buffing the base % attack power increase accordingly) or just add alternate options of the skills (one requires DW and does 60%+60% and the other requires a 2H and does 120%)
Theoretically, 2 attack power 1h hits of 60% followed by another 60% should equal the same final number as one 2H hit at 120% attack power. The 2h hit would just be a larger number on screen, be more “bursty” then DW and give a different/stronger feel to the class, even if that stronger feel was an illusion

In fact Kusarii is probably more accurate because the abilities, both obliterate and frost strike is based on %ap + %ap. Each being applied by each weapon.

Are you suggesting I want an echo chamber? Based on what evidence? The previous quote where its getting to the point of harrassment and not actually talking about what is being said in the threads?

Thank you for telling her that. I constantly tried to get her to stop, but she’ll never stop, even butting in when just her name alone is mentioned, but not being responded to. She’s THAT persistent sadly enough. So I’m trying to ignore her, hoping that it won’t feed this troll by doing so. I just wanted to talk to other 2h Frost supporters in peace. But it looks like there’s people out there that never want it to be talked about in peace to make it never come back, and they’ll do everything they can to pester us and make us look like the bad guys here to ensure it never is possible. God I hate those guys… We need the ignore button back so badly if we ever wanna talk about 2h Frost in peace apparently…

You are the bad guy, just look at what you are doing. Here is an idea, if you want to talk to other 2h supporters and create an echo chamber you guys can just add each other on your friends list and create an echo chamber.

Thanks Kárák. I’ve been trying to ignore, but it looks like trolls for for every possible way to break us and make it impossible for us to ignore. I think I should keep up ignoring the trolls, but not only do I agree we need the ignore button back, I’m glad someone else was responding since it helps me feel a bit better now.

Then stop talking about me, its actually really easy, and quit lying about me. I can point to so many times that you have called me anti-2h after I have told you im not.
You opened this can of worms and now you are trying to play the victim in this whole thing because someone stood up to you.
You have said so many things like “try to shut us down”, called me a numbskull which is against the rules of the forums, called me an idiot, said im looking to ruin peoples “fun”, in other threads you call me anti-2h, all complete and utter lies.
You can see how I talked with Kyrlos where we actually both agreed with each other. I said the damage numbers are the same no matter the weapon, he agreed and asked "why not allow 2h weapons if skills are based on attack power and not weapon damage and speed? And I agreed with that.
But when someone tries to explain how a system works and the limitations of that system like the transmog system and that a 2h skin over a dw weapon set would actually function, but going the opposite way doesnt due to the offhand not knowing what to do, you flew off the rails.
I mean just look at the last post, you are acting like 2h supporters are this persecuted group that no one likes and that anyone against your ideas are trolls. Do you know what a troll is? Its saying something inflamatory or demonstrably false in an attempt to get a rise out of someone. You know like the “If the Lich Kings horse is named invisible then why can I see it”. That is what a troll is.
Nothing I have said is doing that at all. You are playing into that victim card real hard and trying to use it to get some white knight to come and try to shut me down because you cant handle a differing opinion.

… Anyone else can come onto this topic to talk to…? I appreciate how Kárák was trying to help brighten my mood. But it looks like I need to find other guys to talk to really badly. And for the topic, I still remember the additions Hazzed made to the video, cause even though they hurt so much, they’re both funny and true at the same time. I’m glad I found his videos before also, cause they helped at least feel like I have someone to share both my pain, and how much I miss 2h Frost and why it should come back.
And to Mauden, that’s easier said than done since pretty much ANYTHING I say is a reaction apparently. But I agree with you regardless. We need to do just that.
