If you aren’t constantly hot swapping mounts (dynamic and bc), this really isn’t a problem.
I mean I have both types on my bar now, but using tbc is very situational. I can’t see someone swapping to a different flying mode every 10 seconds.

It would not suprise me if the toggle can be done with a script thus giving access to the toggle function without opening the UI. For those five seconds, dismounting and summoning another mount takes time as well. I have had accidents when I stepped off a cliff before actually mounting my dragon. Making sure is another second.
Ok, so you just want to argue/troll.
Got it.

You can drag the toggle to a Hot Bar slot.
It plays the same for everyone broseph.
funny as the original dev team built a game that had the highest subscription numbers on record…
You do know that many of those Dev’s are the ones that went on the record of saying, they wished they never put flight into the game to began with. However once the genie is out of the bottle its next to impossible to shove it back in.
So I wouldn’t clap my hands and praise the old Dev’s as one that was 100% happy they put flight in the game and thought it really was the soul reason that by wrath 12.5 million subs was happening for the game at that time.
Also at the very launch of Cata with 12.5 million subs and with flight being there from the start all over the world old and new zones. It was not enough to keep the subs. Subs started to fall off and bleed off ever since.
Very good post.
Ironically BlizZard is opening a big can of worms by making many players disgruntled. They should allow players to choose how to play and leave it alone.
But their ego is very big as we saw from systemlands covenant fiasco.
The OG devs understood player choice. Current team tries to force a square peg into a round hole and tells us that we are wrong. Hmm…
You know it would really be nice if you players and Blizzard would pick a damn name to the flying abilities and stick with it…so far for Dragon flying …is that name then there is sky flying and Dynamic flying…as for TBC flying there is that then now they use Steady Flying or Static Flying or Swim flying…make up your damn minds which to call either flying …stop confusing folks.
Its changing times and its changing in how mechanics in the game are used and in the story line. Thus the name change to match with it. Are you so ridged in your game play that just by changing a name now, upsets you. Even when its easy to see they done it due to story line and things people are doing in an xpac as well as the development of WoW in general and the effect it is having on that mechanic. Thus the name change reflects this.
It literally has an option to put a button on your action bar. User error does not constitute a problem here.
I proposed that it should work automatically. Furthermore, I suggested that dynamic flight should only occur when using fast flight abilities, and otherwise, flight should be normal.
Instead, they added a spell that takes 5 seconds to cast and requires landing.
HAHAHA! Because you can’t swap your flying style smoothly enough you’d drop out of the beta?
What a thing to quit on.
i keep my dragon glider/dynamic glider out…
for long distance stuff…much faster.
and i keep my traditional flying mount out…
for leisurely, local, and/or precision stuff…
that’s what works for me.
I do not know why they would go that route as it is the worst possible scenario for people that like both DR and TBC normal flying.
Who’s confused?
They needed to change Dragon Riding to Sky Riding because it’s not just Dragons and OG flying never had a name.
I’m always confused but I think I understand this, because as much as I want my N’zoth serpent to have dragon wings it’s just not practical.
I think it is confusing on purpose to keep people guessing but the truth is that BlizZard has very poor communication.
In their defense, anytime an outspoken lead dev speaks out and communicates more with the community they end up becoming some scapegoat for all the games issues.
The truth is really that I’m to blame for WoWs downfall. Me alone! The game used to be more hardcore in its design and casuals like me were catered to which watered it all down. You’re welcome!
Oh boo hoo hoo. Woe are your 1st world problems.
