You are a valued member of the WoW community. But communication doesn’t have to be lengthy or fully explain things. Jus simple explanations on their own platforms. When you have to scour third party websites for communication that defeats the entire purpose.
Wow first thanks, I figured people hated me cause I tend to be a bit of a booty head at times. And yeah that’s true and it mostly falls on community managers to relay information honestly and not the developers.
Sounds like what people want more is more campfire style Q&A which the WoW dev team has definitely done in the past. It doesn’t have to be the same of course, just more interaction from the CM’s left that MS, or whoever, hasn’t fired…
They seem a bit more active on D4 at times then here too which is wild.
Q and A sessions where important topics covered weekly or monthly would go a long way in my opinion.
While those sessions are controlled at least it provides an outlet for player feedback. Right now that outlet is discords which is not even officially part of BliZard’s channels of communication.

Yeah I’d argue that with the Community Council and community at large it could be huge, especially if people are down for it during TWW prepatch and perhaps pre/post season 1.
Could use Twitch like they already do and tied in with Youtube. Not sure if the CMs are down for this though as a thing, or the managers for WoW.
Can’t do that with the toggle though.
any location? cause if it’s not any location I’m going to be mad all over again.
so, no one can have feelings about something
unless they correspond with your own?
and if they do, you demean them?
not very cool.
To each their own! Everyone has the thing that pisses them off! I don’t expect everyone to feel as I do, and I expect people to respect my reasons as I would theirs!
I can’t stand Dragon Flying, it was fun for a short time at the launch of DF and then I used flight paths as much as possible after.
The only time I use DF over legacy flying is if something is time sensitive, like trying to get to these HORRIBLE prepatch events before they get finished in 5 seconds. The cast time on swapping flight modes does not really combine well with that.
Normal flying is already slower, it does not need a long cast time to swap. Tt would be way better if we could just assign a specific mount or use a macro like /cast [@Legacy] FlyingMountName or something to get old flying.
Of course, of course. If you’re that demotivated by a change, however you express that to Blizzard is your own business. I would just be appalled at myself to drop out of something only a limited percentage of the community gets to experience.
But changes aren’t primarily made just from people quitting. Sure a drop in subs tells Blizzard something but it doesn’t tell them every specific as to why. They listen to a lot of feedback people share with them more directly, employees in the company drift through complains, tickets, more sincere feedback, you name it.
It’s just getting all that to the higher ups so real changes based upon them can be done… and then they make the decisions… sometimes.
Now I don’t mean listen as in they’ll make every change, I just mean they know about the feedback. While it doesn’t exactly make them burn everything to the ground and start from scratch to give everyone what they want, it does give them more of a direction to… sort of… follow. At the least.
Easy Fix.
Mode A - Flying works like it does in DF. Only dragons sky ride.
Mode B - All mounts sky ride.
Takes all the bullsh** out on this board about “skillz” etc. Switching between modes at 5 seconds a pop is a sad, Everquestian joke.
