Yea, there was an invisible hacker/exploiter in Korrak’s Revenge last week
also a couple months ago i reported some obvious botters in silithus in the twilight cultists area in the past area phase. you can tell because they are almost always lvl 50 pandaren monks spamming crane kick and spinning in place over and over and over.
I’ve reported people who were excessively abusive to others, exploiters, and some unpleasantness which I can’t repeat here. (perv stuff)

If you’re such a veruul as to curse in public, you get reported.

If it goes against the CoC or the new Social Contract there is a good chance it is getting reported. I wish it would let people know when they were reported though like another game. People tend to buckle down real quick when they get that notification. The rules are there for a reason.

Flogging the crud out of someone should possibly be a last resort. Reporting should be more toward the front.
I report everyone not max level who spam the Services channel. I’ve gotten quite a few feedback messages regarding their punishments.
I can recall 2 instances of reporting people and I’m not even sure I reported. Both were, for sure, banned though.

An old ex guildie had an insane anger issue and when his brother in law was gkicked, despite the matter in no way involving this angry guy, he went off hurling and threatening everyone. The straw that broke the camel’s back was him telling an 8 year old girl he hopes her father beats and ra…does other things to her (father was also a guild member…8 year old girl wasn’t even invovled in any guild activities…she just kept to herself and sometimes tagged along for dungeon runs). I did hear he got a perma ban from that…too bad it wasn’t prison time (though he did end up doing time for abusing his wife later).

In more recent times, someone started spamming “the hub” kink links in the little freshie chat and saying racist stuff. I suspect actually it was someone pranking a friend and getting them banned. Don’t know if I reported it but I might of.
Never have reported anyone here as far as I recall.

I haven’t witness someone telling others to do, you know, by I would report them in a second. I am so sorry for bringing up the topic though. I hope I didn’t cause any harm.
no you didn’t i wasn’t sure if you were being dismissive about it or not though i have also had several friends attempt suicide as well.

I guess my wording could have been better. But people who do stuff like that need to be reported immediately, especially if they were told multiple times to stop. At the very least someone should say something.

I have bad news for you. The email is intended to encourage you to continue reporting. It isn’t intended to reveal information about who was actioned and what was done to them, which would be an invasion of privacy. I’ve gotten that email long before they would have had a chance to do the sort of investigation necessary to make sure any action was fair.
