I personally thought TBC was the best XP. Ill be playing. That is my opinion.
In 4 years when lots of people may quit, who cares? It will be split then anyways. I can get about 3 years out of Classic. Many will get less.

Honestly i would stop at Wrath, for a number of reasons, but the biggest being you can still play most of the Cata and on content still.
Somewhat , but there are fans of each of the first 3, and there will always be overlap.

Same here I will play classic progress thru the content and when it’s all done so will most people nothing left to do equals finished. I’m hoping for bc servers at the very least.

It will destroy server communities. You would split them into thirds.
So will the eventual server population losses too, this would give some of them somewhere else to go.
Well tends to happen when so many people troll these boards daily every since they made them no sub required. People are going to get defensive and snap at people blizz could fix by making the forums sub only again.
Why do you think that will happen. People have played pservers for years. Why would they stop playing classic?
The forums would be a ghost town if they required a sub. A lot of people here don’t play retail.
Also, Why would they require a sub to post on a forum for a game that isn’t out yet? People need a place to talk about it.
The servers will be dead after nax is on farm because there will be nothing left to do they will either quit altogether or go back to retail which will kill the community anyways adding other expansions will keep them going.
So I hope for Classic+ with new content and so on.
I can do without TBC. There are basic mistakes in TBC in my opinion. Like flying, 25 player instead of 40 player raids. Daily Quests. Heroic Mode and Arena.

False. I have 10 character slots per server. Pserver players have been playing pservers for years. You think naxx being on farm will stop us? I will just make an alt and start again. There is a TON to do in classic outside of raiding.
That most likely wouldn’t happen. At that point they may as well just make WoW 2.

Why? are you serious? Not the same people all the time for years though, people will stop playing for the same reasons they always have, not every reason is game related.
And those pserver players are now somehow the only people that are going to be playing? If they are vast majority I would be very worried, but then Blizzard would be ok with having less servers in that case, people overestimate actual numbers from current and pserver and underestimate the most likely larger player source of former players.
No version of this game is going to keep 10s of millions at this point for years and years.
That would be an alternative. I’m just afraid that the bosses will then prefer to focus on the young customer group and we’ll get something like retail again with microtransactions and all that stuff.
