If Horde had instant queues, they would definitely end it before 30 minutes. It would be a zerg fest just like the first week.
I mean, one of us actually gets to read horde chat. Iām not lying. Anyone who suggests delaying the game gets mocked unless itās only like 3 more minutes we need to wait. The games take as long as they do because Alliance turtle for rep.
Is this curent or previous?
Around the time just after pre made elimination you could set a watch to when the game ended. Always over 30 and under 31 minutes.
Iām talking about today, not 4 months ago. Horde want to win the game and get our 3 marks and as much honor as possible. No one wants to sit around and wait for 200 bonus honor unless itās only a couple minutes.
Well that has changed , in the games that started with 10-15 ally while premades still worked games that where effectively over 5-10 minutes in lasted 31 minutes like clock work. Horde sat waiting on Van killl and sent recap or hunting parties for anyone doing lts till the bonus honor kicked in.
Except the rep items are valuable even to primarily PvE playersā¦so player behavior is going to lean towards wanting those items regardless of their personal feelings towards PvP.
This is also another Blizzard design failure that guides the AV circumstance.
Seems you arenāt making the point you want to make
And your statistics about AV in other regions is also fantasy. Go to their forums and the arguments about AV are near identical.
There sure are. The main reason is that anyone who is actually interested in a battleground for competition and fun donāt go to AV. Because itās broken. Those are not mutually exclusive conditions, they are compounding conditions.
Perfect! Glad you agree.
This isnāt some sort of gotcha. Horde really couldnāt care less where our cave entrance is. Itās up to Blizzard to move it though, and smart money says that wonāt be happening any time soon.
I agree, and horde arenāt doing anything wrong by playing the game to win and get as much out of it as they can. Except for those mouth breathers that farm the cave. And no, I donāt expect it to change either. Most people donāt, which is why most alliance players make the rational decision to get the most out of their AV time by NOT trying for a win if the overwhelmingly most likely outcome is a quick loss with little rep. Both sides are doing what is rational from their perspective.
It sure is annoying reading āgit gudā from someone who thinks they are a PvP god because they reliably win AV.
Thatās exactly what a lot of Alliance were doing before Blizzard zapped pre-mades.
To not play AV.
Well, yes. But some of us have alts that need Don Julioās too! So thereās bullet biting involved.
Tarnished rings,
Yeah, Don Julioās is nice but not worth the pain of AV. Iāll pass, there are things that are close enough.
Warts and all , it has never been balanced.
why cant blizz just let the factions switch sides of the map in BGs every week?
Take out don julios ring from the rep rewards and horde ques would be 6hours+, and you would still have mouth breathers coming in here saying the maps fine
The Alliance stopped caring right off the bat. You had those who were gaming the system with their premade teams, and you had the rest of us who either werenāt interested in cheating, or not allowed in the matches. Moral was instantly killed. In all the years that Iāve PvPād in battlegrounds in WoW, Iāve never seen anything like what happened with Classic. Hereās what Iāve seen in pretty much every AV Iāve participated in:
- The Horde were forced to figure out the map, and how to defend it
- The pally-pull crap seemed to make the Horde realize that the trinket recall to base was invaluable, so now they use it whenever their base is attacked
- Alliance pretty much refuse to attack anything but Iceblood Graveyard. If/when they do, they refuse to defend it
- There is a strange mentality amongst the Alliance regarding honor - Those who can stealth are expected to go south and kill lieutenants while the rest āfarmā near one of our graveyards while gradually getting pushed back to the base
- Galv usually remains alive through the entire match for some reason. He periodically buffs the Horde with a 2 minute 20% health buff so long as heās alive (in a sense, the Alliance are creating their own imbalance out of stupidity and laziness)
In order to win AV, the team has to play for objectives, actively participate in PvP, work as a team and adapt to situations as they arise. Until that happens, any map imbalance wonāt matter.
This, but you forgot to mention the druid bugging for more rep as an example of alliance directly hurting their win conditions for more rep.
