Has Blizz even addressed AV yet?

You can’t defend SP from the cave because the cave isn’t close enough to SH???

I dont know if you could have missed the point more than you did. Read the post again and actually think about it for a second.

What’s the point that I missed?

  1. Horde cave makes it impossible for Alliance to take IBGY.
  2. Alliance cave would make it impossible to take SP too, except by then the turnin NPCs might be dead so why would Alliance bother trying?
  3. Alliance give up, because they’re only there to rep farm.

Perhaps the horde cave should be moved to above FW, where the respawning horde can either drop down to defend it, defend it from the high ground, or ride north from it along a ridge. If we are going to be moving things around to make it “balanced”.

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter where they put the cave, alliance will still lose and then come up with something else to cry about on the forums.

Imagine AV getting the “fixes” they desire, and then all of the decent PVPers returned to it and stopped playing AB and WSG. I could easily see the ones left in AB and WSG complaining that horde have magical advantages there and that blizzard hates alliance, since they would then have a 99% loss rate in those BGs, but without the benefit of turnins for rep.

I actually really wish they’d randomize which faction controlled north/south each game so I could see what new excuses they come up with.

You kinda got 1 of the points and ignored the other two.

Horde cave is off to the side but isnt in the opposite direction of where we need to go, SP and cave are. When horde are fighting at SP and horde that make it onto the bridge are past the respawns of the alliance before SP is even capped, slightly different than the situation of the horde cave and IB and FW.

  1. the IB choke is basically unbreakable for any alliance group that isnt 3+× stronger than the horde if the horde choose to defend. So all the alliance can realistically hope is to farm rep, when we are fighting at SP horde can get in and attack and kill all the rep NPCs then we could continue to fight for a while but there is no point so its better to throw then fight pointlessly.

And the one you really missed, even IF alliance defend, the horde get a free summon of a raid boss to fight with and push alongside which should break the stalemate.

Sometimes I see like 5 alliance actually try to defend from the cave.

Usually though you all just give up.

Also, you know there are 4 different paths into SP GY, and the cave has access to 3 of them?

so then you see all the horde tears about how they lose every map they spawn in the north and how it should go back to the way it is supposed to be?

again point completely missed, at this point its either deliberate and you are a troll or you just cant read.

That would be acceptable blizzard actually listens to horde complaints.

Lol yep, we are the favored faction. We have blizzard staff in our back pocket because reasons.

There will always be “hOrDe rAcIaLs!”
Code named " :fire: :poop: :fire: sHoCk aNd aWe :fire: :poop: :fire:!
(because it has to have a dramatic name)

I just got off the big red phone with Bobby K, and he would like us to :fire: sCoRcH :fire: more :poop: eArTh :poop:

If you’re comparing raw numbers 20v10, it’s a fair comparison. If you’re comparing the significance of the gys, that’s a different debate.

Helps when most of the devs play Horde, the game story has been very horde focused for most of its lifetime and they have statues of how many warchiefs and how many alliance leaders at blizz…

pretty sure its 3 warchief statues (Thrall+Garrosh+Sylvanas)
and the only ally statue would be Jaina who is a leader of one of the allied races for the alliance.

Seems to be a bit of bias, OH and dont forget the quote from the vanilla wow dev about how basically all the vanilla devs were horde players.

AV and the results are a dynamic thing.
The map imbalance combined with que times lead to a meta where rep farming is the only concern.
Alliance could see better results with more effort and better players but there’s no reason for them to be there.

This statement says it all. i am just feeling more and more sorry for you.

The only “facts” you recognize are your opinions.

There it is. You are a Classic tourist.

You are the Troll, another sad Retail player, hoping and praying that WoW classic fails so we all have to go back to WoW: Dumpster fire.

Classic Wow is far from perfect but it is LIGHT YEARS better than retail. You’ll be back, when Shadowlands flops harder than BFA.

That’s a bold faced lie.
In however many games it took for me to get exalted not once did horde end a game prior to 30 minutes. There may have been one game that both sides where on offense that horde ended it early due to the threat of ally winning.
