Has Blizz even addressed AV yet?

I am curious why the Alliance cave doesn’t also rez you 20 at a time.

Where are your reinforcements coming from? I understand it sends horde to FWGY but where are alliance reinforcements coming from when you soft cap IBGY?

If the alliance team is smart, they’d be coming from SF GY.

Exactly which negates the horde cave spawn for the most part.

A real change that would help would be to open a second path south on the west side of the map that would negate the choke at IWB and force horde to actually dynamically adapt instead of just being able to zug zug to single point on the map.

And if one side has to be smart and the other doesn’t because of the map there’s an issue.

Horde cap SF every game.

And I agree. With or without the horde cave spawn, alliance are still getting reinforcements from north of the IWB choke without another mid map GY.

And? Taking SFGY is not a hard counter to scorched earth. It’s a big gamble that usually doesn’t work any better than just zerging.

And of course horde take SF most games, kind of easy to do when all the alliance are stuck north.

For free because they get there first.

You guys are right, alliance are incapable of winning AV. That’s why you should just let us win as fast as possible and farm yourselves some honor by killing galv and lts. You’re never gonna do better than that til 2.3.0.

Thats our whole point why the cave rez is why we lose.

We have none, our other graveyard will be SPGY.

You will typically always trade SHGY for IBGY, which is why we cant ever hold IBGY, because the horde can reinforce it by just sending 10 people down, as long as those 10 people kill 1-2 of us after each of their rez’s at their cave we will eventually have no one left at IBGY.

Now if you get rid of the cave rez, we can kill those 10 or so players, rez our dead, drink and heal up whil they rez 40 seconds away at FWGY with a 30 second timer and only 10 at a time INSTEAD of 20 at a time 20 seconds away at their cave.

Even going a step further you cant ever stop them from rezing close to IBGY because you cant stop the cave rez, but if you eliminate that, how hard do you think it would be to stop them from rezing at FWGY? Just send 5 ppl to cap it real quick and there whole back cap is lost.

Actually it’s rep, and the strat right now is to hold the druids prolong the game and farm as much rep as possible. So alliance have adapted, some people just don’t like it.

It’s really unfair that the alliance cave doesn’t also rez you guys 20 at a time like the horde cave does. If it did, it would be impossible for horde to take SP, just like it’s impossible for alliance to take IB.

Alliance will typically kill some lts and maybe galv.

So why are you trading IBGY, with a 20 player respawn, for SHGY instead of SF? Owning SF makes taking IBGY much easier.

Haven’t seen them kill galv, but I have seen them get a couple lts.

But it’s not worth the 45 minutes you guys spend ‘farming rep’

And alliance didn’t think it was worth the 31 minutes for horde to farm honor so if they wanted honor and a win, they stopped queuing.

You don’t even need to move the cave, you can accomplish the same thing by simply delaying its opening a small amount so the teams first meet around the mid of the Field of Strife. About 5 seconds or so would probably be plenty.

Combine that with only spawning at the cave if there are no other GY held and I think the BG would be greatly improved. It would still have some imbalances on both sides but that would even out the worst of them.
