Horde can’t premade either

They changed it because it didn’t benefit horde.
News flash, AV premades were in ALL of vanilla.
AV is not going to change because the map is based on the vanilla 1.12 version. Either come up with a different strategy or keep doing what your doing. This is vanilla WoW 1.12 AV, not 2.4 TBC AV where the cave was moved back a bit.
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insanity.

The alliance doing 40 man premades was considered an exploit, so no. Even after Blizzard patched it, alliance tried to find a way around the fix. Thus, I believe Blizzard started banning those that did it.

They were putting up gates to try and stop how people were doing premades but people were finding ways around them. Still an exploit
You do realize if the horde cave were moved back it fixes the IBGY spawn problems right? Horde would rez in their cave when FWGY or RH were soft capped just like alliance at SPGY and AS, but a soft cap on IBGY would send them to FWGY.
Moving the cave fixes several imbalances in AV. Changing the cave spawn fixes one.
You are not supposed to be able to have 40 of your friends from the same server in the same AV. Thus, it is an exploit of game mechanics and is against the rules.
The reason we cant hold any southern GY is because they spawn at their cave.
You take IBGY they spawn 20 at their cave 20 seconds away from IBGY, you move cave back and you kill them at FWGY they would still spawn right at their cave 20 at a time but this time only 20 seconds from FWGY.
In my fix, which is the first fix to take place i might add removes them spawning at their cave no matter which GY you take.

Taking SF has nothing to do with the horde cave spawn. It’s about horde reaching SHGY sooner than we reach IBGY for a soft cap which sends alliance respawns to AS and horde respawns to IBGY, not the cave.
Alliance have to travel another 20 seconds to reach IBGY than horde to reach SHGY. That’s why when SF is contested, SHGY is generally soft capped and IBGY is not.
As long as horde cave is where it is, alliance will have to work much harder to hold a mid map GY.
You mean like alliance at SPGY?
It creates an unfair advantage. I personally don’t remember the alliance doing this in AV during vanilla.
If you are talking about this one: Players will no longer be sent to their starting tunnels on death unless that team controls no graveyards in the battleground, then I agree.
Edit: I wouldn’t mind this one too: Honor from capturing towers has been increased.
No, the horde spawn there.
This is entirely why we can’t push south.
We either take IBGY and they take SHGY then they just come back cap, and when those horde die at IBGY to try and retake it they Rez in their cave 20 at a time, so ANY alliance they kill now spawn at SPGY, so they send 10 horde to recap, zerg into us kill 1-2 of us then just Rez at cave rinse and repeat and we will be wiped out long before we hard cap IBGY.
It’s the same scenario for ANY of the southern GYs. You can’t skip IBGY and expect any Alliance to make it south and even if you do skip IBGY for FWGY it’s the same scenario, kill the horde who are trying to recap FWGY they STILL Rez at their cave 20 at a time.
Dying as horde means nothing because of their cave GY Rez point, it literally controls the whole south map, it’s between our first 2 objectives, and the Rez is why we don’t win, you remove the Rez when you cap IBGY they now spawn 10 at a time instead of 20, and also spawn 40 seconds away instead of 20.
HUGE DIFFERENCE.
Yes that’s the change before this whole cave push back that will single handily even out the win/loss rates.
I’m not sure why horde don’t want a fair BG, why so many argue against this.
It’s like most horde or players for that matter see this imaginary horde and alliance war.

Yep. It goes both ways. I see a lot of “horde should suffer” posts too. It is all ridiculous. The BG needs to be fair. To me that means cave respawn removed and druids fixed. I also think it means adding more honor to draw rankers back to the BG. Alliance side it isn’t worth it because the HPH is less even if they get wins due to the length of time those wins require now.
