Soooo it is good for you oppose to overall? if that what you are stating? You can be rewarded in other ways oppose to creating an imbalance in a competitive scene. PvE is against Mobs, not players. It is not comparable.

Might want to go back and re-read how you’ve stated some things then, lol.
My opinion: the reason you are low rated is because you are not very good.
Same reason why all aspects of the game you are at the lowest end.
Mythic + you run 6 or less
Raiding you clear normal.
Being spoon fed gear won’t change that.
Can have this without rating requirements on gear.
Can have this via titles and cosmetics.
No rating reqs =/= handout system.
Having to overcome a skill disadvantage + gear disadvantage is bad.
Gear not being locked behind rating would eliminate one excuse that players have for the reason that they’re “stuck”.
Fact: Alt character ( highly suspicious coming from a WoW Classic account character)
Who cares about Mythics… I did it to help out some friends as a healer. And raid clearing normal? So what? I’d rather PvP, as I do on my main who’s 2167. I’m not a sweaty neck-beard trying to push. I literally play with my brother who’s in Seoul, Korea in a barrack.

Gear progression - Gear progression will still exist if they increase the amount of conquest you get at higher rating
Reward for effort - Cosmetics / titles / Mounts
nobody likes a hand me out template system - MoP / WoD was well liked
getting better - You get better playing players with similar skill / gear
Competing at higher levels - Yes, you shouldn’t be competing with players who are r1 at lower end brackets with better gear at 1600-1800

Same for someone hiding on a Classic account who spam posts nonsense.

If you put more effort into your game play you might not need to blame lack of gear.
I’d be more worried about finding a job, instead of troll spamming on a classic character.

Gear progression and rating should go together low rated people should not get high rated gear ei you don’t get Heroic Raid gear in normal dungeons.

I just read your response. Overall, the way you prefer the game to be makes competitive scene a joke. To state “L2P” to overcome gear disadvantage just shows how much we should take you seriously. Honestly, how is that even a response?
