well you get better gear anywhere else in the game why not pvp?
Because PvE =/= PvP and the gearing systems shouldn’t be treated as such. WoD gearing had it done right, as did MoP. Just make the gear trash in PvE but scale to 226 in PvP combat. It’s just outright bad locking gear behind rating.
If you want to reward better players, make it so they get more conquest points the next week for higher rating but that’s it. It worked fine in WoD and everyone ended up at the same point before the end of the season push if they played each week.
There are examples everywhere progression for pvp is the best one.

Do you truly believe that, or are you just wanting to one shot people? Do you really hate having to fight someone, and genuinely out skill them when on even ground?

My time in pvp should award me with gear yes. Rogues were one shotting people very early in this expansion (if you count the death in a stun) PVP needs rewards just like pve do you enjoy 1 shotting pve things and soloing that scripted dungeon after you get your pve gear? of course you do. Same for pvp without the script
