I haven’t heard a single person in this thread say or treat you as if your sexuality is your biggest defining trait. It is only a part of you, and is something that you should not have to fear being open about, and thus the reasoning behind pride month. In fact up until this point, this is the first time in the thread that someone else is even mentioning it. I say this from a kind and loving place, for your own good you should try and not hate so much, its a heavy and toxic burden to carry.

I’m not open about my sexuality, but the people that know my sexuality after having learned it have never mentioned it to me again. Excluding those specific people that I have intimate relations with. Food for thought.

I dont enjoy the push for making people watch shows and stuff with black people in.
I think if its a good show people would just watch it anyhow. And with things like fresh prince and empire we know they do.
However i like the fact they do include history.
