That’s how it works right now from what I understand, although I could be wrong, I’m not a mog farmer. From what I understand, you get an X8 damage multiplier in old content. Blizzard could easily just ramp that to X12 or even X16.
Imagine acting like you’re being rational and level-headed when you’re talking about blocking entire game overhauls simply because you might need a friend to farm mogs.

WELL SAID! Exactly this. Then couple in the lack of loot and them the big middle finger for anima gains, yea it’s crappy way to design a game.

I have just unsubbed from the game. The raid gearing is garbage. The fact that my toons don’t get more powerful every week due to less gear and RNG is driving me nuts. Unless they introduce valor for raiding, I won’t be back.
I do, I hope Sl crash and burns so Activison will shake up the devs that is running this crap fest.

Three Month subs ran out last week if you subbed at the launch of the expansion. So for the past 2.5 weeks 3 month subs have been dropping off.
Six month subs are going to run out on 5/23/2022. That’s 6 months from the launch date–so it’s not surprising you’ll expect to see even more waves of drops around those times. Anytime from end of April-May is going to be another wave of players leaving because subs are running out.
Imagine thinking Blizzard did a good job with Shadowlands. That’s what you were advocating right? They spent their time perfecting SL and not wasting it on old content drivel. SL is a resounding success!!

Which isn’t enough. They need to increase anima gains and give us the whistle back. Then I think that would tie me over to July when 9.1 comes out.
I would imagine they’re trying to line that up.
But there’s no doubt in my mind that they’re paying attention now because they actually see their true numbers and the ratio of players who didn’t resub/cancel long term subs has to be a bit worrying for them.
no def not happening. maybe the .5 patch but… i dont think9.1 is anywhere near that timeline.
