Op,I’m confused by what you refer to as core race.How can a halfia be a core race?
And not all of the alliance story is covered by them, thus we need 1 more.
Any race that is not an unlockable race basically, that was created with full or almost full, unique assets.
So you are redefining what a halfia is. Do you even know what you are talking about?

Sorry.I’m say you don’t if you refer to halfia as a core race. It isn’t. But if you wish to think that as a core race,then all Asian-americans are one core race.
Why not High Elves? Half elves are a sill stand-in for the real deal.
I am requesting them to be a core race. And I do know the difference.
Problem with this is simply they are too close looking to BE’s and VE’s thanks to the HE crowd is already stepping on those toes too much. I used to be an advocate for HE’s only if they recieved their own model, but as VE’s shown us that will not be a thing.
Also half elves appears to be where the alliance high elf story is going anyways.
Only way to make a half race be a core race is if they were to be unique in their make up beyond any and all Azerothian influence ,as of now,we are all affected by her. In the end would upset the civilization already on Azeroth and would cause strife and confusion .
If that is your intent ,then you have created more war on her than all the other one before. Oh didn’t realize you were lightforged so there you go folks.
What is this jibbuish? Beyond azerothian influence? That has 0 to do with core races or allied races.

Main difference is how they’re added to the game. Core races either started with vanilla or were added in expansions with their own home zones and cities. (Until Pandaren broke some of that mold)
Tell you what though I wouldn’t mind them as an AR on their own.
Ultimately it really doesn’t matter immensely how they’re added.

Preferably I would like them with their own unique model/skeleton though. Making them an ar would give blizz an excuse to use the thalassian model again.
Which is why I used the idea of core race.
