Half Elf Thread

Make it the kul-titan model… But with pointy ears. The anarchy that would cause would be comical

I think I’d rather literally any other race before we consider half humans to be a respectable addition to the Alliance.

I don’t RP Raede as a half elf, but when I originally created the character waaaaaay back in 2000 for a message board RPG, he was a half elf then.

The only problem with a half elf (especially if it’s Blood Elf/Human) is that where could their parents live where they wouldn’t be disturbed by faction issues?

How about Dalaran?

Well that and because they couldn’t defend their copyright on classic in some regions unless they were still selling classic.

Yeah but the point is every half belf would have to come from one of a very few neutral regions.

I mean, I do RP that Raede has a human wife and an apartment in Dalaran. But that backstory could get very boring after a while.

There were far more people who wanted Classic to be a thing than people who want High Elves or Half Elves. Even if all of us stopped paying it wouldnt catch the eye of Blizz to make a change. Its different wanting a race than wanting a game. All we can do is continue the discussion for any AR, not just Elves, in hopes Blizzard would indulge us in adding content we would enjoy. Or try to since these threads continued to get flag locked. =(

One of the problems would be to create a model that was quite different from human and elf, combining both into one body!

It sounds like something really complicated but when Blizzard want, blizzard waste time and resources on jokes!

It’s hard but Blizzard has already shown that when devs want, devs can do something!

Would it be nice to have Half elves for the alliance?
I think so but then the devs imagine something less worthy of a solution!

In the devs’ opinion, the alliance cannot have flexibility for something new if it is not to cause laughter!

They can decide to create a half blood elves half orcs race and send to the Alliance, as it was with void belves!

In blizzard’s view, it’s not because they’re here that we’re going to have them!

Why not? So far all that alliance has received and could receive, will be to promote Horde’s laughter!

Why not do half elves like the kultiran?
Kultirans, void belves, junkgnomes!
Anything for a good laugh!

What has the Alliance gotten?

Sith Elves
Space Marine Draenei
Lava Dworfs
Mariners that can crack orc skulls with their biceps and literally command the sea
A race of people so dedicated to progress they amputate themselves and go through immense physical pain without a scrap of anesthesia to make themselves harder, better, faster and stronger.

Horde ARs:

Tauren with moose antlers

Some Night Elves with old-people faces

Orcs but brown and without the demon blood excuse

Trolls without scoliosis and a pretty good case of ichthyosis vulgaris.

Sigh. We were an alliance cheerleader for the last half of legion. ( despite many races having an axe to grind with the legion) Our cities are always being raided and sacked. Or leaders are a revolving door and we’re always being hit with the villian bat. But sure it’s always horde favoritism.

Made up Elves that no one asked for. (However I like them still because they have potential)

Draenei that should’ve been The Broken. Also not what the alliance asked for.

True.

Fat people that should’ve been a body option for humans.

Two of us can play at this game.

High Mountain Tauren. Tauren who helped in the war with the demons and received a blessing.

Nightborne. Night Elves that lived under the influence of a separate magic source from their kin and are have a strong affinity to magic. Probably even more to the Night Elves.

Mag’har orcs have always been a requested addition because they arent tainted.

Zandalari Trolls give this really cool Aztec feeling to the game. They can even be paladins.

The Horde got awesome ARs. Dont know how you got the idea they didnt. I cant tell but it seems like you’re playing the victim for the Horde ARs when they dont need that in the slightest.

Better than Helves

I’d rather space marine than Draenei wallowing in self-pity and looking like they kissed a belt-sander

We’re not fat, we’re not Pandaren.

All elves are made up.

Okay, they got some moose horns. Woop. How are they different from regular Tauren again? They don’t even have the Black Templar-ness of the LFD

Blood elves but purple, and with the worst city on Azeroth. How droll

All the genocide with none of the fel

I’d say they’re rough mezoamerican culture rips styled after Warhammer Fantasy’s Lizardmen, but you do you.

Opinion. But it’s a fact no one asked for them because they’re a booty-pull.

The Draenei with no lore that were made up to meet a deadline?

Your belly is bigger than any Pandaren I’ve ever seen.

True, but at least the other elves have actual lore behind them.

I’m unsure how a half human race with any other alliance race isn’t plausible or interesting enough to go to the alliance. Esp since it’s the most sensible combination for hybrid on alliance side, whereas Mok’Nathal are sensible for horde hybrids. But :woman_shrugging: I guess to each their own.

I’m unsure how there’d be faction problems if it’s a halfbreed of half-elf that pertains specifically to alliance. When it comes to a half-elf that is human/belf idk if they’d do that one simply because it may blur the factions like that. Where as alliance half-elf combos would work a bit more.
