Void Elves barely exist though… and it’s been… 2 years now?
@murgatroyd Can I get an eye roll gif? lol
Blizzard is giving us content. Whether you like it or not content is being added. People enjoy all of those races too. All people want to do is request more content they will enjoy.
Seriously man. I dont think I’ve ever seen you say something positive. I just cant take the negativity anymore.
Well, to be fair, svelte you ain’t.
And those of the alliance are destroyed forever!
But this subject has no direct link to the half elves theme, does it?
You yourself would like to see half elves with kultirans shape just to promote lols!
They’re an AR, none of the ARs besides the two headlines none of them have and tbh I wouldn’t expect much, core races should always have priority over ARs
You wish is my command.
So they’re a missed opportunity.
Haha. You’re the best!
They don’t do core races any more. Just be happy they gave you a compromise.
Every race is a booty pull, it helps noone to be reductive.
Like the Broken and Krokul with no lore, until Argus showed up?
I might have a gut from beer, but at least I’m not shaped like a pear with a butt a mile wide.
We’re sick and tired of Elves. Enough is enough. Give us a Worgen, Gnome or Dwarf zone.
Having some blase humans but with pointy ears isn’t content. It’s them throwing lazy work at the Alliance and giving everything interesting to the Horde. Plus it infringes on their faction identity.
Look at that specimen of a man, could toss that elf beside him like a caber.
I wouldn’t go this far, I still think all races are races nonetheless and should all have their stories expanded upon. Just because their allied races doesn’t mean people don’t want to see their stories expanded upon either.
However, the CRs will probably always take priorities, it doesn’t take away from the fact that there are some people that want to see AR lore expanded upon.
Edit:
Also, I’m unsure how many of you have actually noticed the part where I said " In the future and that no way am I asking Half-elves (or any hybrid race for that matter) take priority over any other allied race ideas." As in the future could be multiple and multiple expacs from now. I don’t really know why you seem to think future means this instant and that I want them to be taken priority over the other allied races that deserve counter parts.
The argument of that would later become invalid as later on the equality would come in for them to even debate yet another elven race. That is a point ive discussed multiple times in this thread.
Half Elves would have been an amazing compromise, but that didn’t happen. So no, I’m not happy at all.
I didn’t say they shouldn’t. But they haven’t and I feel like people expect void elves to get the same sort of coverage as blood elves.
I mean I don’t see why they shouldn’t or can’t expect Velves to get some sort of coverage at some point. Perhaps not this instant before the CR stories are being brought open upon, but to want Velves lore to actually be addressed (as there’s kind of little) and to a degree as CRs in perhaps smaller doses or even same as CRs doesn’t seem that bad to ask for.
I’m glad to see we’re in agreement?
LOL!
But we have only had compromise since the beginning of BfA!
I mean sure, but there’s still the discussion on the same type of coverage as Belves have gotten, and still don’t see why they can’t get that sort of coverage . A race is a race, even if it’s technically a “subrace” of some sorts.
Because blood elves are a core race. Void elves are not. They are not equal.
To feel that they don’t deserve some form of equality of coverage to have more actual established, legit lore as belves and any other CR has just because they’re an AR doesn’t seem to make sense to me is all. It doesn’t have to take priority over CRs, but again doesn’t seem like that’s a bit fair to the people that do genuinely love the AR and want more lore just as much as people who love CR and want more lore from them.
I think we’ve both agreed to the priority of the two, but for the two to be at least treated equal in regards to how much lore is given? I feel like that’s a reasonable thing to ask for .
To be fair, Void Elves are Blood Elves. So they already do share the lore of Blood Elves. Blood Elf lore and Void Elf lore is now separate though. They can now both be given their own directions in lore and attention. Each race, AR or CR, does need lore attention in some form. This is probably why Blizzard originally said ARs are not subraces. They are still races in their own rights. They might not have a huge start area like the CRs but they still warrant coverage of lore.
