I sometimes wonder what they’d go to if they did update her model to Void Elf and void looking, like legit wonder.
This could legit happen, she’s had like 5 different models anyway.

there is definitely a wrong side
one side has lore and development backing them up
the other has fanfiction
for example, when development speaks about the canonical status of alliance high elves and says ‘theres only a couple and that they arent out there supporting the alliance like alleria and the void elves’ or ‘if you want to play a high elf, that IS a blood elf’ there can be no honest argument for alliance high elves after that. they are the creators what they say is the truth and anyone arguing against them is flat out wrong

Like Moon said, it could happen. She’s one of those lucky ones that keeps on getting updates each time something happens with her.
Jaina gaining a few pounds could happen. I think it would very unlikely, but still plausible.
But mainly, if people were allowed to look like their leaders, you’d see player gnomes that are taller than dwarves (canonically Mekkatorque is weirdly tall for a gnome), undead high elves for Forsaken, male draenei with the same model as Velen (assuming you even see one) and, the worst of them all… humans cosplaying light forged draenei (because Turalyon is their leader).

I’m sure they’ll be fine they keep telling us they’ll be here requesting what they want no matter what, at least they can do so with Alleria looking like the VE she should be leading.

Oh, I don’t doubt this at all.
But there would be a period of time where they’d be out of at least one poor argument.
Not to mention that you should expect a lot of accusation flinging and blaming it on you or me or others.
As if Blizz actually paid attention to feedback, specially to an specific group.

They can do it anytime they want to, which is the great part of it all imo.
I don’t think people who don’t want more HE options are bothered by the lack of movement in this regard from Blizzard, but they could just change Alleria for VE story one day seems like with the Void and all its always on the table.

Well, I’m being a snot because until the customizations patch, the only white worgen was Genn.
Much like how, until the customizations patch, the only fleshy void elf was Alleria. Or the only dark grey undead was Sylvanas (also blood elf death knights).

I think its valid to request until the end of wow, after all I’ve heard HE fans say if they don’t hair options they’ll be here forever / until the end of wow asking.
How long until they give up? Though I do hope Alleria being changed wouldn’t be lost on them as far as implications for hair options goes. Maybe have her Void form not change anymore she’s just permanent void form.

You are a Void Elf, the void is your story, the what if HE fans are pushing as the matter of fact is the “what if” story not the main story or default moving forward.
The idea Alleria should or could change falls in line with more Void story line.
Well, the void does speak of many possibilites. So who knows.
