Hair of color blonde and brown for the Void Elves please

Take me for example, I don’t want Void Elves to have everything from Blood Elves.

As I’ve made it clear in various threads, all I think Void Elves should get whenever the next batch of customization comes is hair color and style.

I think jewelry should also be copied over, but with the difference being that all gold from the Blood Elf ones to be changed to silver for the Void Elf ones. (Maybe change the gemstones too to be closer to void colors but I really like gemstones so keeping a wide variety is great too).

I don’t think Void Elves should get any new classes, and I think people asking for Paladin don’t know what they’re talking about. I’ve never seen anyone ask for Void Elf Druid or Shaman which I saw someone claiming was happening, but same applies that those individuals don’t know what they’re asking for. I also don’t think Void Elves should get Demon Hunters.

Of course, now that I think about it that does sort of sound like everything minus eye colors. But that’s also why I’ve made it clear in various threads that Blood Elves should get new things that are just for them. Specifically things that use a Silvermoon theme using reds and golds. I recall also mentioning them getting Dark Ranger options too.

The other races of female in Goldshire don’t want this. Competition is serious there.

Blood Elves have every right to be unique.

Aye, which is where, as you point out, a generalization can fail.

I just meant if he was using “ppl” as a smaller group within the general community it would still apply. The size of that group not being established meaning it could be 2 or higher.

Everyone needs to drink water, is a generalization of the human race that does in fact apply to all humans… that are alive… Its a biological need and thus always a true statement.

I’m surprised you’ve never seen them asking for druid or shaman. It was a fairly common one for awhile, though I don’t think I saw you around back then.

Demon Hunters I also don’t get but… honestly I suspect when more Demon Hunters are added it’ll be EVERY race getting them.

And yeah… I don’t think Paladins should be a thing for Void Elves.

Many do not like the idea of Blood Elves having everything copied and I get why.

I’m much more in the camp, as you know, that the Void Elves should get void things and not more high elf ones, but I’m also a lot more neutral on it than I think a lot of folk think I am…

I’m not going to quit if they do add hair colors or such, and I’ll probably use them even on a toon here or there.

My interest though lies with more void options, since I love the void aspects of the Void Elves. I’d link my post about it but I’m afwaid ole Cezol will come and bark at me.

Oh come now. Void Elves already supplanted everyone except the Draenei.

I love the void aspect of Void Elves too. The Void has continued to be my favorite cosmic force in the lore for several several years now, ever since it was first introduced. Back when I first started to RP during the transitioning from Wrath → Cata I even had a Blood Elf RP character that essentially was a Void Elf by taking some inspiration from things show in TBC. Still though, I personally have no issue seeing the High Elf aspect expanded on as well.

Exactly VEs have their own unique theme they don’t need more options that visually brings them in line with BEs more than they were already gifted.

Expand on the uniqueness of both now, for VEs that means more Void options more void hair etc. this is my one VE with a non void skin tone and he should have more prominent void aspects to choose from.

And it’s a really cute one at that, just saying. :kissing_heart: :kissing_heart: :kissing_heart:

I had to hop on him earlier for something and it seems I’m stuck on him for the moment on my phone anyways hah.

He uses a short hair style with sparkly tentacles on the back, I think it would be cool if we could add void scarring so even if someone chooses a natural skin tone to their Void Elf we could have some prominent void effect added. <- that’s the kind of unique options that would actually be unique and new and add something to the game not just appeasing people who want BE options to be fully stolen.

And of course you know I think VEs are like the last race that is in need of options anyways I’m just saying like when / if that’s the sort of thing I’d want.

Well I like him, I had never seen that character of yours but now that I have I’m a fan.

He was originally a BE and I’m bringing him back if they ever do a char sale. Then I might actually play him again as I do love mage.

I’m a little surprised Void Elves can’t have jet black hair, honestly.

ive always considered you a pro never anti or ‘neutral’

I used to be amused: some anti’s saw me as a pro while some pro’s saw me as an anti.

Nowadays I’m more of a Void Elf pro not a high elf or blood elf pro.

I have never labelled you outside of calling you Fen or Fez and the fact you always support my pink haircolor wishes and Nightborne wishes. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

I think it’s important what we consider ourselves too.

To be fair I felt my own perspective change and there was a time I felt truly neutral on the issue and I was aggressively both on and off the forums labeled an anti but by pro HE supporters of course which was odd to me I would still never use the term but I think most of my views align with your own.

I think to touch up with what Fenelon said I just consider myself pro BE these days period which arguably is probably what I should have been to begin with I just felt immensely sorry for Alliance HE fans as a whole but I think I have since seen too much behavior about the topic and on other topics which is just major yikes from me.

I appreciate that.

Oh I am very pro-pink hair for everyone. Sign me up.

Honestly I wish I hadn’t grown up afraid of the glory of pink. I want pink hair.

And yeah the Nightborne need so much love.

This bit here.

I don’t enjoy calling folk Anti’s when I understand the desire to want to keep the Blood Elves unique visually.

I prefer to call anti’s Pro-Blood Elf.

And Pros Pro-High Elf.

That way we’re coming at it from a more mutually respectful position.

(Also I may have accidentally called it Bro-Blood Elf earlier and I like that a bit…)

Yeah people who are pro BE also I have seen only want the best for VE players for more unique Void options.

I think many Alliance HE fans like to use anti to paint this negative image of their opposition, but people who value the visual distinction aren’t out to wish the worst or to be anti more options for VEs they have from what I have seen and witnessed want more options that many Alliance HE fans simply evidently don’t value on the same level.

Because to me if you can see your opposition say they want you to get more unique options and your reply is along the lines of “why wouldn’t u want more options u people are so silly being against options!” That tells me that no matter how much they profess to also want void options they don’t value those options if they can see people being for void options but against more HE options on VEs but still paint them / act like their anti options in some way.

I have run across a few who don’t want us to get anything at all.

While I know its not among the more regular Bro-Blood Elf crowd, I do know this happens.

Still in my experience with the “regulars” they tend to favor more void options for void elves.

As for the rest there, I will say that I’m not surprised pro-high elf folk would be far more focused on the high elf options since thats what they’re interested in.

I do think that some of our regular pro-high elf folk tend to either only pay lip service to the idea of more void options or set it to a back burner.

I used to support high elf options, but a small margin of high elf pro folk, who on the whole, are not our regular crowd began to demand more and more. Some even going so far as to wanting to erase my beloved void elves entirely.

Sometimes I still see it occur.

I’m rambling at this point…

I guess the point is, I think we could all do with coming with a little more respect over all… or somesuch.

I felt this way for awhile after encountering the Worgen but then you, Avarie, Somand and Lance made me feel less negative about it even though I still don’t want Void Elves to ever get more normal looking stuff past what they already have.

I support this highly.

The end part of this makes me sad because it’s true and I’ve seen it in more than a few people’s posts and it’s like if you want a 100% Blood Elf play one, Void Elves are their own thing and that’s what makes them cool.

Was a good read in between battlegrounds. :yum: :yum: :yum:

And finally I totally agree with this, so preach.
